wow!!!!!! what a film. i love this film and think the acting is superb which makes a film all more special. There nothing i dislike about this film and think its one of the best series I've seen. If you're going to buy this you wont be disappointed it 5 star *****.There so many twists you will be kept entertained throughout. It a film that makes you think " what going to happen next ". It is a rather sad ending but i suppose thats the way it is. As the film caries on so does the tension.I hope you enjoy it as much as i do and your watch it over and over again

It is somewhat hard to believe, but in australia this piece of trash actually got primetime billing, which unbelievable to say the least. This seems to be a typical day-time tv mini-series. The women are blantantly protrayed as "out of luck" etc with none of it being their fault, meanwhile all the men are shown to be complete morons who have gone around and screwed over their respective wives. The women band together while everyone else leaves them out to dry or tries to take advantage of them. Their would be better plotlines on some kind of feminism propoganda. I've seen soapies with more believable acting. Very one dimensional plot, definately not worth anyone's time.

The basic premise of `Daylight Robbery' is that four likeable thirtysomething ladies who have probably never transgressed beyond getting a parking ticket decide to take up armed robbery. The writers never quite succeed in making us believe in this scenario and worse still, it was done so much better in Lynda LaPlante's wonderful eighties mini-series `Widows'However the characters are attractive, the performances strong and the robbery sequences, particularly at the climax, generate tremendous tension so I soon found myself involved with these tough women and of course I wanted them to get away with anything up to and including murder.Lesley Sharp does best in the juicy role of the determined mother of a crack-addicted teen, with former soap star Michelle Collins also making an impression as the shattered wife whose star footballer husband has suddenly absconded, leaving her in massive debt. The plot is neatly resolved though it does depend on a big coincidence; I would certainly recommend `Daylight Robbery' unless the aforementioned `Widows' is fresh in your mind.
