This show is by FAR one of the worst "educational" shows of all time. Now, just because a show is educational and rated TV- Y, doesn't mean it's instantly bad. Examples: Blues Clues The Upside- Down Show MLP: Friendship is Magic Arthur Odd Squad Nature Cat And more. But this is awful... It just might be the worst PBS cartoon running today. The animation looks like it was done be one person in ten minutes. It's comparable to "It's The Nutshack" in animation. No, it's WORSE. "It's The Nutshack" doesn't copy and paste live-action pictures into their animation. The voice acting and writing are egregiously bad. Almost as bad as "Super Why." And just the ignorance of the original "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood" is offensive. They take 100% of the charm out of it. This was even made by the fricking Fred Rogers Company, where "The legacy goes on". Yeah, legacy of making cartoons just for 💰. I hate this show. P.S. The Fred Rogers Company isn't a bad company. They made Odd Squad and Nature Cat, two of my favorite PBS Kids shows. Here is my final word: Do not watch this. It's cruel and unethical torture.

Without a doubt it's a great program it's what sesame street used to be with lots of music and memorable jingles to help kids learn. From potty training, to dealing with anger, to dealing with feelings arising with a newborn on the way, Daniel Tiger tackles a lot of things other newer shows don't reach. There's even a show about voting and what it is for. This show is worth watching especially if your child likes music. My youngest loves the music and jingles she often dances to the music. I urge any parent with an upcoming doctor's appointment to watch the episode where Daniel Tiger has to get a shot. It might ease anxiety for your child when going to the doctor and for parents too.If your potty training your child I urge you to watch the episodes about going potty and repeating jingles about using the bathroom. It worked for my oldest daughter maybe it can work for your child too.The tantrums episode wasn't a good show, but it should not discourage you from watching the other almost 60 episodes available to watch. Netflix dropped it recently, why I have no idea, but you can view all episodes via YouTube, PBS kids and Amazon. Daniel Tiger Is Great Program!

I've never written a review on here before and the only reason I am now is b/c another person wrote a horrible review about this show.... first I would like to say, that person obviously does not have children. Second, they didn't watch the show from a learning perspective. Third, they watched Mister Rogers around the end.... so that tells you their age. This show is something that Mister Rogers would be proud of, it defiantly takes on the values and ideals that he wanted to share with children all over the world. And there are a lot of pieces of the show that come from Mister Rogers' neighborhood. My daughter loves Daniel and all his friends. We watch this show every morning and through out the day. This show helps children to learn who to handle their emotions, like jealousy and anger, and as a mother of a toddler... this is great! Along with talking about emotions, the show has catchy songs that help you over come your emotions. There are episodes about potty training, getting a new sibling, jealously from that new sibling, going to the doctor, starting school, trying new foods, safety, etc.My husband and I grew up watching Mister Rogers, and we don't mind the changes... shows have to adapt to whats currently out there and technology has changed so much since Mister Rogers first aired in 1968, or even when it was on in the 80's & 90's when I watched it. And honestly, if this was a show like how Mister Rogers was, I don't think a lot of children would like it as much as they do now, with it being a cartoon. Children can relate to the characters; Daniel, O, and Katarina and are learning through their experiences. Basically, this is a greats show and you don't need cable to watch it! its on PBS!! Or if you have Netflix, Hulu or Amazon you can find it there too.

When I first heard of this show i was skeptical at first, but trying to sit through one episode was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Even going through the opening theme, I could tell that I was heading for torture. It's mind numbing and made my eyes sting. Back when the show was new, I could tell it wasn't going to be great, but THIS, this is one of the worst children's shows ever. A lot of the puppet citizens of Make believe were only kids in Mister Roger's Neighborhood. Ten years after the show ended, everyone who we knew are now adults! How does that work?! Also, the way these characters look, which is supposed to be charming and cute, they creep me out. Along with that, a lot of the writing is also dumb, "grr-ific!" apparently that's what the writers think is clever, so they're obnoxiously putting it in episodes just to see hardly anyone laugh at it. This MIGHT be okay for kids at around 5, but for those who grew up with Mister Rogers, can feel their childhood being brutally crushed! That's how i feel about this show, If Mister Rogers was still alive today to see this show, THIS would probably end up killing him anyway. I'm surprised to see this got over 5 in rating. Plain and simple, this is awful. And I hope it ends soon. If I ever have children, I'll make sure to keep them away from this show by any means necessary and instead give them The Original "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood," It's classic and MUCH more quality filled
