EP1 The Surf 'N' Sport Basement Sep 05, 2015

Steven and Joanna have a very usual request for their dark, dank basement - they want one half to be a sports-themed man cave, and the other half to be a family room with a surf theme. Paul rises to the challenge and creates a dual purpose space that perfectly captures a vintage sports feel and a Hawaiian surf shack.

EP2 The Pizza Oven Kitchen Sep 05, 2015

Brian and Alison want an updated kitchen where they can entertain their large family, but don’t know where to start. Paul completely revamps their kitchen’s bad layout by building a massive central island ideal for cooking for big groups. The new kitchen even seamlessly blends a pizza oven with a Cape Cod feel. At the workshop, artist Tina drops by to see if Paul can build a multi-functional art station that she can use for group retreats. Paul delivers an artist station that’s a masterpiece itself.

EP3 The Sliding Stage Theatre Sep 12, 2015

Warren and Mary Ann have a family full of performers and a basement that’s not worthy of an encore. Paul and his team turn the dark basement into a home theatre and performance space with a state-of-the-art sound system, massive projection screen and a moving stage! Paul gets a request at the shop to make a table to display a special rock collection. The team gets together and builds a beautiful dining table that reflects client Alia’s love of travel and elegantly displays her rock collection.

EP4 The Art Table Kitchen Sep 12, 2015

Tiffany and Wayne have a cramped, cluttered kitchen that also functions as their young daughter’s art station, which leaves minimal space to make a big family meal. They also have a dining space with a large circular table taking up valuable real estate. Paul unites the two rooms by removing a wall and creates a stylish galley kitchen that’s worthy of Tiffany’s culinary creations. He also adds a built-in table with hidden storage for their daughter’s art supplies. The east coast visits Paul at the shop when clients Kim and Tommy ask for patio furniture with a distinctly nautical theme. Paul and the team take a boat apart and rebuild it as an outdoor furniture set that blows these clients away.

EP5 The Curved Glass Bathroom Sep 17, 2015

Boedhi and Ferlin have a huge master bedroom with a tiny ensuite bathroom. They’d like a bathroom that feels like it’s in a luxurious hotel, but one that is personalized with a few subtle reminders from their native country Indonesia. Paul takes half of the unused space from the bedroom and creates a unified bedroom, dressing room and stunning bathroom. The bathroom includes a curved backlit glass etching that surrounds a large stand-alone tub, and the dressing room has a carved wooden dividing screen with a discreet Indonesian influence. At the shop, Joseph and Candida want a kitchen island bar that’s truly unique and Paul is just the man for the job. He uses fallen trees from the couple’s cottage to create an island bar with a live edge countertop and shelves made from birch trees. The end result is not only functional but is also a one-of-a-kind art piece.

EP6 The Big Beam Kitchen Sep 17, 2015

This episode’s a special one for Paul. He’s done non-stop renovations for years on everyone else’s homes, but never on his own. His wife Janna has always wanted a new kitchen with a desk area where she can work. Paul decides to turn his attention home and gives Janna her dream kitchen that reflects her eclectic tastes. Speaking of eclectic tastes, parents Sarah and Mike want a very special bed and desk made for their son Liam as a surprise. Liam loves outer space so Paul decides to take the bed and desk to the final frontier and creates something that’s out of this world.

EP7 The Lit Up Living Room Sep 19, 2015

John wants a living room that no one has. He wants slick space that feels like a high-end boutique hotel where he can watch movies and relax with friends. Paul creates a sleek living room with a gorgeous backlit marble wall, floating display shelves and fireplace to warm the space up. At the shop, it’s playtime for Paul when couple Danielle and Mike ask for a playhouse for their baby boy that they can tuck away when it’s not needed. Paul and the team create a hideaway playhouse that transforms to look like a wardrobe when not in use.

EP8 The Wine Cellar Office Sep 19, 2015

Mike and Anna have a basement office that’s cluttered and doesn’t have a purpose. They’d like the room to be turned into a dual office and wine cellar to house their growing collection. Paul takes on the difficult logistics of combining two very different spaces and comes up with a wine cellar with glass doors and a joined wrap around desk for two that is effortlessly integrated. And speaking of unusual requests, the shop has a first – new client Christine wants a doggie mansion for her four Pomeranians. The team sets to work building a mansion for canines with some serious bling.

EP9 The Bright White Kitchen Sep 26, 2015

Helen and her daughter Leelah would like to cook together in their kitchen but unfortunately it’s a room built for one. Paul orders up a radical transformation and expands the kitchen by replacing the wall between the kitchen and dining room with a quartz island, and then repurposes the TV area so it can be used for dining. The entire space is modern, beautiful and has room for plenty of cooks in the kitchen. Meanwhile, the team has an unusual request from client Joanna at the shop: create a British bar as a wedding anniversary surprise for her husband John who misses home. Paul delivers a spectacular British bar fit for any living room.

EP10 The Big Family Basement Sep 26, 2015

Anthony and Maria have a dark, dated basement that’s a blast from the past. This couple throws large family parties and they want an inviting space for entertaining and relaxing with their kids. Paul takes apart the whole basement and creates a lounge, laundry space, dining area and sitting area all in sight of a beautiful three-sided fireplace. This fantastic space will definitely create a bright future for this family. The team also tackles a new challenge from clients Natasha and Prince. They want a change table for their new baby that’s not baby-themed, so it can match the decor in the main space of their small family home. Paul creates a gorgeous wall-hung change table that folds up into an art piece when not in use, with the added benefit that it can easily be converted into a desk in the future.

EP11 The Gentleman's Bar Oct 03, 2015

Michael and Aran’s two boys have outgrown their playroom so they’ve decided to turn the empty room into a grown-up retreat for themselves. With a large adjacent wine cellar already in place, they’d love to add an elegant bar to match. Paul and his team take the space to sophisticated levels and create a bar that feels like an upscale club. Another challenge awaits Paul at the shop when two Live Action Role Players (LARPer’s) Genarro and Electra ask Paul to build them a display for their armour. The gauntlet is thrown and Paul creates a display worthy of knights.

EP12 The City Skyline Kitchen Oct 03, 2015

Kevin and Kristen recently left the city for the suburbs and moved into a dated bungalow that they want to feel like an urban loft. Paul loves the idea and completely opens up the space, replacing the walls to the basement with a modern glass and steel railing. He builds a mind-blowing central kitchen island with a double-sided fireplace, and adds a dining room with a backlit skyline and a gloss stretched ceiling. The beautiful transformation leaves this urban couple completely speechless. At the shop, a very special customer decides to pay Paul a visit. His mom Judy drops in with his dad’s antique radio that’s in desperate need of an update. Paul, his mom and the workshop team surprise Paul’s dad with a gorgeous radio makeover that includes a modern stereo system and a pop-up television.
