Reviews

Bene Cumb /refers to Seasons 1 and 2/ On the crest of the popularity wave of Scandinavian thrillers, the Norwegian series have remained in the shadow of Swedish and Danish ones. Also in my visual field, but in recent years, I have begun to settle a score and found multiple creations worth watching.Among them, Kodenavn Hunter is a more "active" thriller, including power, intelligence, and politics, with topics and elements characteristic to Norway's reputation in the world (sociable refugee policy, international peace negotiations, gender equality). At times, the sympathy feelings and approaches tend to be approached in a too deep manner, but the logic of events is still maintained and viewers do not lose touch with main events and characters.Performances are also realistic, without sticking out, more a real team cast; however, due to the apparent limited number of film actors, several of them have roles in similar series, sometimes creating confusion... But still, if you like intense political thrillers, Kodenavn Hunter is definitely for you, but you might want to watch all episodes in succession.
