With the famous owners busy with their other football commitments, a struggle to sign new players and their star striker preparing for retirement, the club need to dig deep to put the performance on the pitch that the fans now expect. Joint managers Bernard and Jonno, in addition to preparing for Bernard's wedding, guide the team through a thrilling FA Cup run, but the bubble soon bursts. Promotion now hangs on a play-off final against Workington FC, and nerves are racing on what is the biggest day in the club's history.
