Al Cadey Currently I am re watching the entire set of series (again). I'm in series 5 at the moment. I have grown up with the Mathews, I am roughly the same age as Cory and this show pulls you in, like a member of the Family. and it has been a pleasure to have such a great program to get me through some of my own tough times. Laugh, Cry and everything between. easily one of the best family programs I have found. and I feel I have learned many lessons from the show too. This show is also great at addressing issues that young people face, and reinforces the importance of good friendship and the belief in real love. and we get to see Cory and Shawn, Eric and the others grow from young kids to brilliant adults. I don't think I have cried as much as I did when the final episode ended for anything else. these guys are all like family to me. It was the end of a great era.
snperera This show will always have a special place in my heart! The characters and the realness and humor in this show make it a classic. I love Cory and Topanga together and I love Shawn and Eric and all of the characters. This show talked about real life events and issues and it tackled some hard things. This show talked about faith and death and for a kids show to do that is amazing!!! :) I believe so many of the characters had such chemistry and has such fun with their characters. My favorite season will always be 7. I loved how we go to see all the characters that we grew up with in college and dealing with adult things. I will always love this show and I am so glad that it was a show that wasn't afraid to talk about real life issues.
bkoganbing This show was the Disney Channel Show that the Magic Kingdom didn't originate. Boy Meets World was one of the bigger hits that ABC TV had during the Nineties for family audience. The Kingdom soon remedied that and it was run on their network in syndication and later Disney put out the current Girl Meets World about the next generation of the Matthews family.William Russ and Betsy Randle were the parents of Will Friedle and Ben Savage. The show centered around younger brother Ben playing Cory Matthews and we see him first in Middle School then High School and finally college. The American public watched the family grow up and mature all under the tutelage of William Daniels playing both their neighbor and teacher who traveled to each grade. Not like that usually happens, but we accepted it because the show was so easy to take.Ben also met the love of his life which has continued in Girl Meets World, Topanga played by Danielle Fischl. She's a lawyer and a mom on the current show, but she was a young hippie refugee in middle school. Weird and out of place, but she had something intriguing and special for Savage.Best friend Rider Strong was part of the growing up process. It's interesting to see how they've brought him back in the new show. Strong hasn't quite settled down yet as an adult. The most intriguing character for me was carefree Will Friedle. I remember seeing his goofy character of older brother Eric take on a strictly serious persona when he had to recite some Shakespeare. I was blown away by his talent and ability with the Bard. I hope he's done that for real in his career. I also hope Girl Meets World brings him back.Boy Meets World is what family entertainment should be about.
Floated2 Boy meets world is definitely one of the best shows ever and one of the best Disney shows ever. the show is very relaxing and fun. The first couple of episodes were great then the show really gets better in the latest episodes. Its cool to see how all the characters really grown up and have changed. They all look very different from season 1 to 7. Cory and Shawn act pretty much the same, so does Mr. Feeny and the parents but Topenga changes a lot. the characters are cool. The only real problem i have with the show is that in the last seasons when there in high school and college, Angela is brought in the show as another main character. She is a horrible mess and shouldn't be in the show because she is black and racist to crackers. The other newest characters (Jack and Rachael) are great. Angela is the only problem. The writers made a huge mistake for making her in this show....other than that, this show is awesome.10/10
