boomey023 I took a chance one night because I wanted to watch something different. To my surprise and 2 weeks later I went through all 4 seasons. I could not get enough of Bosch. I have my co-workers watching now. Must see drama and characters that you will love.
jimhall777 This series is absolutely amazing. Quite interesting and very much like reading the Michael Connelly novels. The multiple story lines, the attention to detail, the realistic characters are fantastic. Titus Welliver is incredible as Harry Bosch. We hope there are many more seasons!
calorne I enjoyed series one and two. Some snappy dialogue and good acting. I love Bosch's home, especially its night-tme views over twinkling LA. But series three was a let down. The story with the director was very lame indeed and at times just downright irritating and the tale with the ex-military guys was one dimensional and unengaging. Without singling out individual actors there was some weak and unconvincing acting in series three too. It also drifted away from drama and toward sitcom at times and rather lost its identity as a result. It's hard to maintain good quality series upon series, but some manage it, The Sopranos for example.Later addition - series 4 steadies the ship and I have moved up from my post series 3 mark of 5. In brief the first, second and fourth series are good but the third is a turkey with ham.
Marie Morgan I've been a from-the-beginning fan of the Michael Connelly books. Titus Welliver is perfect to imagine as Bosch while reading - as well as the other characters. The house used is WAY nicer than I was picturing - but just so stunning. This TV series has done what no other TV show or movie or book has ever done for me - made LA look attractive and like a place I want to visit.
