Stephen Mangan is very talented and funny, and I had hoped this show would utilize his skills. It did not. The subject matter is more awkward and stressful to watch than funny. The director/creator David Cross is also generally funny in an off the wall kind of way but this show seems out of character for him. I like a little heightened tension in TV series but not from the start to the end of each episode.

I have watched all 5 episodes so far, each one seems worse and I can actually see time slow down when this programme.I have zero sympathy for the main character, and I'm starting to feel annoying with his tortured families as well. he's a bully, almost to point of mental torture. This lacks any of the tact, humour and empathy required to turn a delicate and stressful situation into a comedy.A complete waste of my Sky subscription fees...

Great actors and actresses doing their best with a script that produces a show which irritating to watch. There Is so much wrong with the show I don't know where to begin! Basically, I find Stephen Mangan's character totally objectionable and uncomfortable to watch. The new angle with Chris and Chris ("Let's call her Chris, it's easy to remember it") is so cliched and over used it is unbelievable.
I won't be watching any further episodes (Episodes, now there is a great comedy!) but before I go I have a question. Are you not allowed to leave rubbish in your car at Bristol Airport??? Why does he bag up his rubbish, and then transfer it to his other car where it is hidden, only to retrieve it and throw it back on the floor of the car he picked it up from? This question, for me, is the most interesting thing about this wretched programme!

The was so far the other side of funny. It was tragic that actors of this caliber have stooped to accepting material of such incredibly poor quality.
It would be an overstatement to say this was a waste of time.
