I love this show. Anything supernatural is normally something I will watch. Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches, hybrids, and anything related is my favorite type of show/movie. I wish this had more seasons. The first season is amazing, season 2 is a little less so, but then season's 3 and 4 really bring it back. Only the beginning is similar to the UK version so don't let that stop you. Normally I prefer the UK or original version of any show, but this one had me hooked real quick. It's funny, real, intense, scary, and lovable. The characters are so different and relatable.i just finished the whole thing and was very sad to see it end. I'm just glad the right people ended up together. It deserves a 10 rating I think, give it a chance.

the best thing about this show is the characters. sally, Aiden and josh. they have a beautiful bond and friendship. there always there for each other. helping each other get through there lives. it's a good supernatural show about a werewolf, vampire and ghost who live together and try to get through there life's and live a normal life . it's got it's emotional moments as well as funny moments. sally is really funny, quirky and bubbly. josh is just a total sweetheart and Aiden is awesome. this show is so sweet and beautiful. I love there friendship between them. even if your not into paranormal shows, this show is still worth a watch. It's entertaining and interesting. it got me hooked. I love it. I really wish they didn't stop the show. it was so good

The US version of Being Human shares the characters. There is a vampire, a werewolf and ghost. The beginning episodes supposedly tell the same story. But that's where the commonalities end.The UK version is less slick. It's not Hollywood, and to me it seems to me less polished. The American version is smoother. Some things are explained better. In the American version we find out more "rules", such as why the ghost can and cannot be seen, or when and how the ghost can move things, interact with the real world. But the UK charm is gone. For instance, George, the werewolf, is an OCD Jewish nerd. He is clumsy, also very vulnerable, innocent. At first I wondered why and how he was cast in the part, and then I came to like him. He is a decent "bloke". The US version of the same character has none of the endearing qualities of George. On the other hand, the US version seems more focused, better organized.Again, slicker.I would suggest that people interested in either version explore the other, and pretend that they were both developed at the same time, but in parallel.I'm still making up my mind.

Warning spoilers!I have watched a good amount of this show and have stopped because it's gotten TOO sad. I mean no matter what genre you have you MUST have some joy to it. Drama, Horror, Romance, Fantasy, etc. If it's all just sad sad sad what is the point? If I wanted to stare at sad people I would just watch the news!Additionally when all you have is depressing $#!t it gets boring. Like watching paint dry. Why do that? These people have horrible problem after horrible problem with NO resolution of said problems. It just gets worse. You know, you have to have light in order for dark to exist. Get it?Also the rules of the show make no sense. This just seems like another lazy American copy of a British show. ENOUGH! Avoid this show.
