Banshee is up there with the best box sets around. I'm just amazed more people don't know about it. It's one of them series you just wish never ended but unfortunately it eventually has to end. It contains so much from great fighting/action scenes, to a very good story line and twists when you don't expect them. The writers and actors/acactresses need a big pat on the back as they couldn't of made this better than what it is and it truly is amazing. If you haven't seen it don't think twice about giving it a go cause I promise you that you 100% Will not regret it.

(possible mild spoiler?) I got hooked instantly from the start of the first episode. I was shocked how much i love this show. I knew i was gonna be interested, but oh boy did i underestimate it!! I cant believe how unpopular this show is.. everyone reading this knows that this show is aired on cinemax, (or skin-a-max). Honestly if this show was on HBO (cinemax sister company) this would be a well known all time greatest action series. But now its like the best kept secret. Its obvious the general population will hear about a interesting show, but then realize it airs on cinemax, so they just assume its a soft-core series... its so much more than that. Although...there is quite a lot of skin shown!!!! This is a white knuckle thriller with great pace and great action. The cast is amazing, a lot of chemistry together and unfortunately there is only 4 seasons.. If your a fan of thriller/action, this is a MUST SEE.

This show is really hit and miss. Sometimes it's awesome, with good plot, clever characters and decent fight scenes. Sometimes it falls into the rut of daytime soap operas, with dull dialog, low budget fight scenes comprised of 50 cutaways per punch thrown and a meandering plot. Beyond that it has an annoying habit of spontaneously becoming one of those terrible R rated TV movies that used to come on late and contain mediocre, drawn out sex scenes for minutes at a time.If you have any kind of standards prepare to be rolling your eyes at least once per episode over any of the mediocrity mentioned above.
