Lucas André Who drew the dicks ?! Despite the show being more in the parody vibe, its very well made. The mix between crime solving and humor still combine.Looking forward for o season 2
lskenazy Loved every second of this incredibly clever parody -- and can't stop thinking about the waaaaaaay deeper issues! And I'm not even an English major. This is a show for anyone who has any beef with any authority figure, or who has ever felt judged. In other words -- everyone. Great acting, great dialog, great, funny sense of self-importance. Dearly hope there will be a sequel. Screen it in law schools, before anyone becomes a prosecutor. Screen it in ed schools for anyone who's going to become a teacher -- or vice principal. And for God's sake, NPR: Watch and learn. This is what you sound like! You sound like Peter Maldonado except not funny!
Ersbel Oraph the story is nice. but it is slow. the producers clearly needed to fill up the space negotiated with netflix. and the story simply can't stretch that much. by the second half of the third episode i was asking myself why couldn't that fill up just one episode instead of two and a half, even three. it is the first netflix production that i badly needed the film to go at a higher speed. i had the same feeling with deidra and xxx rob a train, but that was easily solved by often jumping forward. with American vandal the points are hidden in this slow going mass and jumping would just lose some of them. there is a vague understanding of the issue of privacy in the last episode, but that is it.Contact me with Questions, Comments or Suggestions ryitfork @ bitmail.ch
chandler_joey It surprising how the show went from the initial hilarious parody content to actually questioning the labels we put in our society and how people judge a book by the cover or even after reading a few page. American Vandal surprised with how well it balances laughs and seriousness. Each episode has a cliffhanger approach and how it approaches to resolve the 'who done it' situation was very interesting. If there is a show that you want to watch for great character arc, hilarious content and some real parody detective stuff. This show is the way to go. I specially want to callout how they made me feel differently about the lead character through each episode and by the very end it had added another layer to the character. I hope they come up with another season, this was truly refreshing to see and very entertaining in its approach.Highly recommended.
