EP1 Meet the Brodys Mar 15, 1996

Sally begins her job as Bobut's new nanny, to Bobut's amusement. Adam and Snizzy reanimate a dead frog. . .which then mutates and begins terrorizing the town. Bobut goes on a playdate with Doug's boss's son, and winds up using mind-control on the boss to get Doug an undeserved promotion. Doug happily accepts the promotion at first, but then the responsibility becomes too much to bear.

EP2 Bobut Conquers All Mar 22, 1996

Doug has contracted the flu. Adam tries desperately to get sick to avoid having to wrestle at school, but Doug's mutating, talking germs get everyone else in the family sick. Sally, who has become Bobut's prisoner more than his nanny, is unhappy with the way her life is going, so Bobut tries to find her true love â€“ by using mind-control and holding a man captive.

EP3 Cookie Makes Some Dough Jul 27, 1996

Heather gets a zit, so Snizzy conjoures up some anti-zit cream. Cookie gets a job at Doug's company and becomes vice-president after one day at work. But problems arise when a efficient robot that she's brought to work is a threat to all of her co-workers jobs.

EP4 You Don't Have a Pet to Be Popular Aug 03, 1996

Sally puts Bobut on a no-pudding diet and his usual antics ensue. The family gets hyped up when Spit's pet, Varch, a Harnazian Funazz, comes to live with the family. Varch takes an instant liking to Heather, who can't stand him. To make matters worse, Heather's new boyfriend, Ethan, comes to visit, and Varch welcomes him by eating the boy. But Heather feels bad when she finds Varch asleep in her closet and throws a shoe at him â€“ but he doesn't wake up. Heather thinks Varch is dead, but doesn't realize his breed sheds their exoskin.

EP5 Too Good to Be True Aug 10, 1996

Snizzy invents a duplicating machine that makes things nicer. When Bobut insists on acquiring a Stinky Stevie doll (""the doll that barfs on you"") that his parents won't let him have, he clones himself and the real Bobut sneaks off to the toy factory. Doug and Cookie fear that they've done something wrong to make cloned Bobut so insipidly sweet -- while the real Bobut finds himself being packed and shipped to two obnoxious rich children.

EP6 Respect Your Elders Aug 17, 1996

Two of The Elders of the Neurtron Galactic Federation, the supreme beings who rule over the destinies of the alien Brody family members, pay a visit to see how future leader Bobut is being raised. Bobut quickly becomes disillusioned with High Elder Prissy's training methods (and the heavy crown he has to wear), so it's up to Doug to prove to Sissy that Bobut is being properly educated. Meanwhile, Heather goes out of her way to impress a clique of popular girls by having Spit gross them out.

EP7 Dissected and Neglected Aug 24, 1996

Sally tries unsuccessfully to teach Bobut his ABC's. Cookie's in a conundrum when she meets Doug's boss's wife, Holly, and realizes that she once abducted Holly and dissected her brain. Doug tries to use the information to his advantage, which backfires when Holly announces she's getting a divorce. Snizzie creates a breed of mutant Yuccles, a candy that she loves. The puppet candies that call her ""Mommy"" are at first a burden, but they soon attack the school bully and finally move out and get their own TV show -- which bears a strong resemblance to ""Friends.""

EP8 A Very Brody Tweeznax Aug 31, 1996

While Doug makes plans to have a ""Brody Family Vacation,"" Sally daydreams about spending her time off having romantic dinners with a handsome exotic man. In preparation, Sally offers to have Bobut's passport photo taken by a happy clown. . .but the clown's happiness turns to despair when Bobut attacks him. Meanwhile, Spit invents a fake alien holiday as an excuse to get out of his schoolwork. But when little Bobut overhears Spit telling his siblings about it, Bobut expects a Tweeznax celebration.

Melissa Rogers (bloodymaryhorror) Well, I'm 37 and I absolutely adored this show. I still remember Bobut's Lambie-Pie & Stinky Stevie, and "I require Choc-O-Yum chocolate pudding", his vestments being too heavy, Tweeznax, Doug's mug and the plot of all the episodes I saw on Saturday mornings, even though I only saw them once. The humor was similar to Family Guy, with Bobut being a baby (alien) with adult intelligence and wanting to his kill his nanny Sally. I thought it was much wittier than Alf. I don't understand how a show like Alf could succeed and this smarter show could fail.I would LOVE to have this on DVD or to purchase for download on Amazon.

bcgrote The premise of this show wasn't bad, but it's timing and time slot may have done it in.Alien Brady Bunch? Perhaps. The baby had funny lines that became catchphrases around my house. Alien kids from Henson's Muppet Shop, so they were quality. I would have liked to see more, and see the episodes I missed which may have given exposition on the looks of the kids...Well written, to my mind. Easy to watch, laughs abound in each episode. Is that so bad? It was supposed to be a comedy. However, most well written comedies don't survive anywhere on TV, much less basic cable. Such a shame.Nice lighthearted fare, safe for the whole family.

rickjacobs1 I used to work for the Jim Henson Company, who produced this show for ABC.Eight episodes were made in total but ABC only broadcast 2 in prime time, then when they put it on Saturday mornings I think it only lasted a week or two...It wasn't a bad show, it was kind of a case of Henson management trying to do something original but they communication was so poor in the company that what came out was probably not as good as intended. We sold this show along with the new Muppet Show (MUPPETS TONIGHT) with a lot of fanfare, and my job was to pick up the pieces from all the networks who bought AITF at top dollar and scheduled it in prime time, only to hear that it was canceled right away and there will be no more episodes... shame it's not on DVD as it would probably do well as a cult show.

murraysports I loved this show. I laughed from the moment it stated till the end. It's the best stupid comedy ever made for television.As for it's being a "rip-off" of 3rd Rock. I don't think so. It's far better than 3rd Rock has ever been.I just wish I could get it on video somewhere.
