zaylee-72683 I don't understand all the bad reviews ... it's like a contest to see who can slam it the most eloquently. I actually really enjoyed this show because it had fun graphics, represented strong family ties and made attempts at presenting solid moral values. Some people on here are complaining that Aftermath is unbelievable, but it isn't supposed to be - it is fantasy science fiction for the fun of it. Just relax, kick back, chill out and watch it just for the fun of it. It isn't supposed to be taken seriously. I for one hope the network brings back a second season to give closure on what it was all about and why people were getting sucked up into the swirling hole in the sky - terrible way to end the show with so many unanswered questions.

jeffsanford We really like this show. It is very different and has a good mystery sense to it throughout each episode. The only thing I do not like is the Anne Heche character, it is horrible. But, the rest is great. The story line, the developing thriller, etc. all good. The majority of the haters in this review list all just watched the first episode and based their opinion solely on that. It was a very good episode. Based on what I have read most did not even pay attention to what the episode was telling the audience. The acting is well done, the writing is good, and it slowly develops as it goes to maintain the suspense. You must get past the first episode, to see what it is all about. I have seen several reviewers refer to zombies in the show. It is not about zombies....

bandito like another reviewer said, it grows on you after 3 episodes! definitely worth to binge watch it. I think the show is been over criticize and badly judge,like Z nation. in my opinion, the Family members have well developed characters that grow well as the season advance. The mom and dad are physical actors and The mom is The alpha in the couple, why not, she is the one with an army background. She play her role perfectly an with enthusiasm . Each episodes keep moving locations and events, new characters shows up, situations have to be dealt with or resolve, lots of action and movements. The dialogues are cheesy as can be the drama sometimes, but there is also great comments and acting/reacting too. This apocalyptic end of the world show is made for diversion and enjoyment of its excess and implausible reality. its definitely worth 7 as a first season, like z nation give it a chance and enjoy it. way better in character then some of the more intellectual or true to science TV show that get 8+
