This is the first comedy show that really takes its time in establishing its own set of rules, and it's very refreshing to watch them play out episode after episode. The world in which 30 Rock lives is unique in that it's a twisted version of NBC, that feels so real it has to be fake. It's all thanks to the genius of Tina Fey and Robert Carlock

I honestly think that 30 Rock is a one season sort of show. I did thoroughly enjoy the first season.I tried to move onto the next season almost overnight and thought it was too long and boring, without variety and options to explore. The fact it is limited to just Tracy Jordan (Morgan) is simply more of crutuch than a blessing in terms of the storytelling despite how much fun him being wacky can be.Tina Fey is really beautiful woman and her semi-biographical representation is a enjoyable watch in as much as it provides a new view on how SNL does work to a certain extent. The rest of cast, especially Alec baldwin and Katrina Bowden add a genuine spark to the proceedings and Jane Krokowski's Jenna and Jack McBrayer's Kenneth seem that dysfunctional on a regular and personal (I don't know how I feel about that addendum :P).I will end this that if even though you are either not gonna care for my opinion or maybe confirm your bias about the show, there is one thing that i will bet good money on: Conan's 5 minutes on the show in the first season is way better any other season that comes after. Seriously.

I loved this show as soon as it came out. My favorite character was Liz Lemon. The sitcom was hilarious!! I remember watching it on TV and it was such a pleasure to watch. I loved Liz's sarcasm and her sense of humour. The acting was very good on this show. Very good actors. I wish that this show did not end, because it was a fantastic show to watch. The writing and acting was amazing to watch. After the show ran it's final season, I bought the DVD Box set of all the episodes. This was to remember the good times and the sense of humour that this sitcom brought into my life. Today's sitcoms are just not as good as this one was.

First I am going to start with the answer for why 30 Rock? The reason I started to watch this show was TINA FEY. I have seen some of her movies like Sisters, Date Night, This Is Where I Leave You, Admission etc. I loved her original acting in an impressive way. This made me to know more about her. I googled about her and came to know that she is one of the best writers alive and known for her work on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (1998-2006) and for creating acclaimed series 30 Rock (2006–2013) and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–present). SNL is bit of a vast to give a shot so I went with 30 Rock for which she was the creator, writer and actor as well, so it's a jackpot for me. 30 Rock - a situation comedy loosely based on Fey's experiences at SNL. In the series, Fey portrays the head writer of a fictional sketch comedy series. As of her acting part no doubts, she was flawless, spontaneous, well driven character. The best thing of this show is her writing and the importance for the show's crew - pillars of the show. Whatever your mind set is, when you are watching this show you will forget everything and enjoy to the core. I always liked that thing when even a small character or part is given a detailed attention, in that case this show proved more than anything. Trust me you will know what I am saying in season finale. Remember this part. Each and every character has a great importance. Some of you even like Tracy Jordan or Kenneth more than any of the characters in this show. I'm having an empty feeling to lose my days with this awesomely dense comedy. Sometimes funny, sometimes brilliant, sometimes emotional - too good to say a satirical TV sitcom. This show is packed with spontaneity, stupidity, love search, work relationship - friendship. It has got some wonderful cameo appearances unlike any series on television like Oprah, Jon Hamm, and even more throughout the series. I don't want to ruin the surprise. You can also find Tina Fey's Spouse and her child too. The struggled show for its rating and critical acclaim has ended up with winning several major awards (including Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2007, 2008, and 2009 and nominations for every other year it ran), and achieving the esteemed top ranking on myriad critics' year-end best of 2006-2013 lists. On July 14, 2009, the series was nominated for 22 Primetime Emmy Awards, the most in a single year for a comedy series. Over the course of the series, it was nominated for 103 Primetime Emmy Awards and won 16, in addition to numerous other nominations and wins from other awards shows, refer wiki for more. After watching The Great season finale of this series I came to read the following in web and was no surprise to me here it is - 30 Rock is regarded as a landmark series. Its series finale has been named as one of the greatest in television history by several publications. In 2013, the Writers Guild of America named 30 Rock the 21st best-written television series of all time. I always liked Tina Fey, after 30 Rock she become one my favorite person in the world. I am genuinely feeling so very sad for missing Liz Lemon, Tracy Jordan, Jack Donaghy, Jenna Maroney, Kenneth Parcell, Frank, Pete, Toofer, Grizz, Dotcom, Lutz, Jonathan and even more. Felt like am a part of the 30 Rock family throughout my watching. I will be missing this Wonderful Family.
