mep-91608 I loved this book and was looking forward to the mini-series, hoping they wouldn't fail like they did with Under the Dome. Once again they took a great book and completely changed the story for no reason. It is a good show, worth watching but be prepared to be disappointed if you loved the book.

alexmlamberty If there was ever to be a tv show which was equal parts thrilling, heartbreaking, comical and romantic it'd be this one. By the end of this show you'll not even know what to think or feel. Truly amazing.

Lee Eisenberg I read Stephen King's "11/22/63" a few years ago. The miniseries is a fine adaptation, with a few minor tweaks. It's good that they adapted it as a miniseries; a single movie would've been too long. The main thing to take from it is that you can't expect to be able to change history so easily. And even if you do, you can't be certain what the result will be.While on the one hand the book and miniseries draw attention to the question of what all happened in Dallas that day, I mainly recommend it as a perceptive look at time travel, and the potential negative results thereof. Because this is a Stephen King work, there are some VERY ugly scenes, but none gratuitous. It's a real page-turner. I recommend it.
