Discotheque-Jacky_O Words are meaningless if you are about to describe this movie. The corruption of the Greek teenagers,in your screen!See how life was in the 80's,the fast motorcycles, the fantastic Discotheque-Jacky.O... The Plot:Giorgos (Panos Mixalopoulos) is the classic bad boy.He likes motorcycles, discos, pretty girls and stuff. He meets his friends at the disco, and sometimes at his friend's house,a foreign girl named Ursula Van Hoven. His friend,Fanis (Stamatis Gardelis) ,meets a girl from the country, who ran out from home because of her parents. Her name is Athina(Sofia Aliberti).Giorgos also meets one day at the disco a girl called Eleni (Athina Tsilira). One day,his naughty friend Loukas (Giorgos Rigas),says to him that he has a good idea. The idea is to rob Giorgos' father, who works in a bank, take the money and run!Can you just think of the rest?... The first part of the trilogy of Giannis Dalianidis,(Ta Tsakalia,I Strofi,Oi Epikindynoi),will stick you on screen! The best cult movie ever!
andrkns "Ta Tsakalia" is probably what comes to mind when you think cult Greek B-movie.The directing is awful, the acting mediocre but it really doesn't matter. This movie is an exaggerated portrayal of a Greek cast-out in the 80s. Social decay, family fall out, Zundapp motorcycles, gang fighting, robbery and the most historic a**-kicking intro ever by Stamatis Gardelis:"Me thimasai re pousti?" (whoever understands it).
