When their transfer bus crashes in a West Virginia forest, a group of convicts and a corrections officer meet a rafter who is on the run from cannibalistic hillbillies who have murdered her friends. Wrong Turn 3 a film where convicts go against cannibals and believe me it's even more stupid that you would think. Pleople die by huge sticks that go threw their mouth and or just get captured and get killed plus the acting was horrendous and the dialogue even worse. Plus i can't decide if Wrong Turn 2 or Wrong Turn 3 were worse and it's actually a debate. (0/10)

They should have stopped with the first, but no, obviously some easily entertained people out there are an audience for this garbage. In this case, a bunch of convicts being transported (shades of Precinct 13) have their bus crash so the cops and con's have to team up to battle the (still surviving horrible wounds) inbred morons who, still living in the lush woods of West Virginia, can't explain WHY they are cannibals. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

A prison bus carrying a full complement of dangerous criminals is travelling through the wilds of West Virginia when it is forced off the road by inbred cannibalistic mutants. Overpowering their guards Nate (Tom Frederic) and Walter (Chucky Venn), the criminals—still chained together by the ankles—make a bid for freedom (with guards in tow), but are hunted down by the hideous flesh-hungry hicks. The discovery of a wrecked security van full of cash and a chance meeting with Alex (Janet Montgomery), the only survivor of an earlier mutant attack, causes additional complications, the greedy cons arguing over who gets the green and who gets the gal.The plot for this third chapter in the popular gory backwoods horror franchise sure is dumb, but nowhere near as dumb as the characters themselves (and I'm not talking about the film's inbreds, who actually display a degree of intelligence). In fact, the decisions taken by the cons and the guards are so stupid that, when one of the victims has his head cracked open like an egg by a brain-hungry freak, I was expecting it to be completely empty. The phrase 'Careful, it could be a trap' is uttered on several occasions, but it doesn't stop these morons from walking right on in—serves them right when they get their face sliced off! One of the guards even finds a gun in the security van and uses it without checking it for bullets—how idiotic is that? And then there's that classic horror movie mistake: just assume that the killer is dead, don't make sure. When will people learn? (talking of which, when will I learn that horror films set in America but made in Bulgaria are generally not worth the time of day?)4.5 out of 10 for the brutal gore (some decent practical FX and some woeful CGI), generously rounded up to 5 for brunette babe Louise Cliffe, who provides the film's only nudity and whose death scene is a corker.

While on route to a prisoner transfer, a group of thugs and police officers find themselves stranded in the woods with a cannibalistic mutant that's trying to kill them off one-by-one and must try to survive against the relentless killer. There was a lot to really like in this one, as there's plenty of good parts here. One of the better parts is the rather fun action scenes here which give this one quite a lot of impressive scenes in here. The opening attack on the campers at the lake works well with the suddenness of his ambush out of the forest as well as the slaughter rampage against them, the car chase to force them into the predicament is a lot of fun and there's a lot of action-packed encounters in the woods as his guerrilla warfare style of attack is a great deal of fun which makes the film stand out. There's some great surprise ambushes where he attacks them getting out of the bus, the great one-off attacks at the tree trap, the water bank, the trap with the truck left on the road and the surprise appearance at the riverbank as well as the multitude of fine brawls in the jungle between the convicts and their prisoners gets rather fun as the finale is some incredibly enjoyable action movie brawling throughout the forest as the gang-leader takes him on after the abduction scene. The ensuing rescue attempt at his cabin house results in more great fighting followed by the utterly unreal big chase scene at the end which all gives this a lot to really like about its action scenes. What tends to give this some really great suspenseful moments with the stalking here is with the storyline gag of having the criminals chained together so they can't make an escape and are forced through the area to escape knowing there's a killer in the area which makes for a good time. This is all brought out by the fact that the gore here is simply off-the-charts, even with a low body count there's just a ton of bloodshed in here from the kills we do get and it's just a blast to watch as it's quite possibly the best of the series. Still, even with these positives, there's the major flaw in the storyline here which doesn't really do much for the film as a whole. Unlike the others who had a family, this one is mostly hurt in the fact that it's just one mutant battling everyone and it really seems lazy to do this as it really goes overboard to make a superhuman killer just because there's nothing else coming along to keep the film going. The other one here holding this one back is the prisoners do get irksome after a while since they don't do anything but point guns at each other and curse, which gets old. Beyond that, this was still a great time.Rated R: Extreme Graphic Language, Extreme Graphic Violence, Nudity and drug use.
