morrison-dylan-fan Recently having a good run of viewing movies I've been meaning to watch for ages,I decided to take a look at the titles I'm hoping to sell after viewing. Buying this (thankfully cheap) due to it being a bit pricey online, I got set to count the "wild" zeros.View on the film:Made on a budget lower than the band members quiffs,co-writer/ (with Satoshi Takagi) director Tetsuro Takeuchi & cinematographer Motoki Kobayashi attempt to play Sci-Fi/zombie Horror and weird Road Movie notes all at the same time. Shot on flat digital video,Takeuchi fails to light any of the Grindhouse sparks on offer, with the Psychobilly songs played by the band (whose faces are stuck in mildly disinterested mode) being badly mashed In the audio, and the zombie/UFO effects looking cheap and grotty. Attempting to go for a dreamy vibe in the screenplay, the writers instead turn it into a nightmare, via none of the characters being given a distinctive edge, and the Sci-Fi/Horror elements being left to hit bum notes.
beyondthegore First off the band, the music which dominates the movie is really rubbish punk and the sound quality is appalling, real low bit-rate which distorts and clinks through your speakers. With that annoyance, throw in some bad acting and a really poor script and you have got a film with a pace which mimics the consistency of a zombies brain. It was genuinely boring to watch - C didn't even make it all the way through! I thought that after such a bad start the zombies at least will save it... Sadly no! They are as bad as the sound quality! Annoying and frustrating are two such consistencies in the movie. Take my word for it, its not gory, its not funny, and whilst the plot sounds imaginative and interesting, it is hideously executed.Avoid this movie, no wonder we only just heard of it.Read the full review at: beyondthegore
legionarul2003 This should not be named Wild Zero, but Absolute Zero. The worst movie I have ever seen. Incredibly bad acting, horrible plot, an absolute waste of time. People who make such crap should be shot to death. This is garbage, garbage, garbage and even more garbage. I have no words to express my disgust. It is horrible, horrible, horrible. Stupid, idiotic, moronic. Don't waste your time. Sticking nails into your head would be more fun. What the fock was wrong with this junkie director? Did he eat shiite for breakfast? Did the focking zombies eat his brain? Why the fock should I write ten lines? One line is enough: this is the worst piece of crap ever produced.
jimboduck Blue skinned zombies never more real! The countryside amok with dead people, and a motorcycle gang can rock our world! In terror time, the citizens die and come back zombie. The only way to kill them is the head. Crawling with disease, who can you turn to? Where do you go? Bring back that rock n' roll sole?Look no further my friends, because the satellite's gonna shine bright tonight.WILD ZERO is a kick in the ass. It's made with real fruit juice, mainly from concentrate. Spinal Tap's has the 11+ for extra loudness! Gone, baby, gone. Let's blue-skinned zombie killing!I'm not the most rockabilly punk on the planet, but on any given day I might gel up my hair real nice. I keep the dark sunglasses on my counter top, next to the root beer. Shuriken guitar picks The Guitar Wolf teeth !JYJimboduck-dot-com
