If a dormitory is some kind of alternative prison and girls are adult women and in means never in,the title makes complete sense. I watched this twice and still don't know what to make of it. The girls seem really slutty at the beginning but we soon learn that they are actually much worse than that. They have no problem frequently climbing the 15 foot high spiky front gate and never even think about just jumping the 3 foot high wall two feet away. The werewolf tries to gently massage people to death and usually fails. Who's the werewolf? I have no clue. The men are that boring and similar. The best thing about this movie is that all the doctors and professors have guns. That seems to be a common thing in these movies and it never gets old. Watch at your own risk.

This is one of those older "awesomely bad" type of movies. Pretty cheesy, and the dubbing seems to add to the cheesiness factor, but overall it's not the worst film out there. It does keep you guessing, slightly, but it's not that enthralling. I find it more comical than gripping. What's scarier than the werewolf terrorizing these girls in their reform school (who look to be in their mid-twenties, but the audience is made to assume they are teenagers)? The professors. These men are all sleazy! They're trading favors for sexual engagements with the girls, and not a word is mentioned about how this is probably not the best way to conduct a reform school for "troubled girls." If you have about 85 minutes to spare, this is a mildly entertaining film, and it's good for a bit of a laugh.

Badly dubbed "horror" movie takes place at a school for wayward girls. Handsome Dr. Julian Olcott (Carl Schell) has arrived to teach the girls science. Around this time a girl is found dead...supposedly killed by a wolf. However it isn't and the police realize it's a werewolf...but who? The movie provides multiple red herrings but you really won't care. Also this is only nominally a horror film. Most of the footage deals with a blackmail plot with only occasional bits with the werewolf! I saw the Mill Creek DVD and it was in OK condition--but the opening credits are completely missing! Also this is horribly dubbed and has entirely inappropriate music. This film also has wolves CONSTANTLY howling during the nighttime scenes. It's kind of spooky at first but is overused so much it's hard to take seriously. The werewolf makeup is kind of effective...but looks NOTHING like a werewolf! It has fangs and bushy eyebrows but no hair on its face at all! Looks more like a vampire than a wolf. The pace is slow, the murders tame and the 82 minutes drag out. Lead girl Barbara Lass is certainly beautiful and lead man Schell is handsome but their good looks can't help this. A boring forgettable horror film. It's probably only remembered for its title. A 1 all the way.

It has been over 40 yrs. since i first saw this film. There were a few things i had remembered about the film, however, most i had forgotten. This is a black and white film made in 1961. I was about 16 when i first saw it and thought it was pretty neat. That is because i thought that Barbara Lass was cute so naturally, i liked the film. Now, over 40 yrs. later i have it on DVD. Barbara Lass is still cute, but the film lost a lot since i first saw it. The story is easy to follow and figure out. The werewolf doesn't have much hair but passes as OK. The actor, Curt Lowens, did a descent job. The suspense is alright and overall you should find this film mildly enjoyable. Get you're sweetie and you're popcorn ready. Enjoy. John R. Tracy.
