adonis98-743-186503 A detective pushed beyond his limits will stop at nothing for vengeance. When his wife is killed by a criminal that he put away, Mason, a hard-nosed detective, deliberately gets arrested in order to get revenge. While inside, Mason discovers a new criminal enterprise that those behind it would kill to protect. Vendetta showcases a very different and quite awesome side of Dean Cain but also Big Show made for a compelling and great villain. Lot's of suspense, action and cool and respectable characters make for a great prison action flick for sure. (A+)
lalamcgivern This story was written by two 13 year old boys at a sleepover after too many e-numbers. The pitch went like this: This man comes in and shoots the other man, then another man, then the other man, then they fight then they go to prison then they hit each other, then another man is there and he hits the man, then the man stabs the man then he kills the man, then they go to sleep and the next day the man fights the man and the man kills the other man then, then, then... You get the idea. But Will! WIIIIIIILLLLLLL! So, Will has been working hard for Warden Snyder, you see, and Warden Snyder has noticed his efforts. Some time before the story begins, Warden Snyder has offered Will a part in his dastardly dealings, a small part at first, until Warden Snyder feels like he can trust him with the bigger picture. Will's got a family to support and welcomes the extra work, but as the extent of the Wardens wicked ways reveals itself he becomes disillusioned with his new position. Unable to find a way out without incurring the wrath of the Warden, Will reluctantly continues to play his part. Poor Will. His undeserved and untimely demise was truly, truly shocking. We should mourn this fine man, God rest his soul. And what of his family? Such a shame.BUT IT WAS THE FUNNIEST PART OF THE FILM! It was so quick and unexpected that I screamed out loud. This spectacular couple of seconds of cinematic marvel is the reason I've given this four stars instead of three.
utility_infielder This movie felt more like a 90's direct-to-video action movie than most actual 90's direct-to-video action movies. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing.Getting it out of the way -- this movie is dopey. Very, very dopey. But who cares? The action is solid, the score and music is good, the villain is creepy and intense, and Dean Cain delivers a solid performance as the hero turned anti-hero. Felt like a spiritual sequel to 'Death Warrant' with Van Damme set in modern day.The duo of directors seem to primarily work in the horror genre, and it shows. They seemed to shoehorn in a lot of blatant gore that, in many places, felt very unnecessary and out of place for the genre. It didn't hurt the film, but just didn't feel 100% right for the tone. Other than that, the film was well directed and looked much "bigger" than the small budget I assume they had.Overall, 'Vendetta' is a well-done, fun little action flick. Check it out.
cheyennewight This was a great movie by the WWE!!! I wasn't expecting much it was quite a surprise. I would recommend this movie to anyone that likes prison based movies. The Big Show did an excellent job portraying a bad guy. Dean Cain is always a good actor. Thank you guys for not letting me down. Dean Cain character went to the extreme to exact his revenge by going to prison to get it. When I first seen the front cover for the movie I thought Big Show was gonna be the good guy, but I was wrong. Can' t wanted t for my boyfriend to watch it. It is most definitely worth buying. There was plenty of action, and it kept me watching and waiting what to happen next.
