VEERAM :Its an out - n - out Action entertainer. A full package for Ajith fans. The screen presence of #Thala s just larger than life.It has many mass elements & commercially planned to attract the audiences. Whatever the clothes Ajith wears, has the charm & style within himself.Nothing new in d story, but screenplay made d magic 4 movie. Comedy, Action, Sentiment & Romance, t has everything in right quotient. The Oly prob s pace of d movie. Though its slow, never gets bored. Interval block s just pure mass.Positives can be mentioned as Ajith, screenplay, BGM. Negative is just the songs. My Rating : 9/10.

"Veeram" stands out as an all and all simple yet a good Pongal entertainer with some great moments and some style factor. The film's weak points lie in few of the moments which are draggy plus the over melodramatic quotient within few of the moments in the film. Apart from that, the editing by Kasi .V. builds up great intensity somewhere, but the slickness gets loose in some scenes too. The music score by DSP lends some good support to the film and when it comes to the film's positive points, then its the narration by the director Siva which entertains you well, then well choreographed sequences by Silva, great comedy factor and few great punchlines written by Bharathan and Bhoopathy Raja, then the characters especially Tamannah and Santhanam who are at their brilliant best and then comes Ajith Kumar who in his two different looks is at his usual best and his machismo and charisma is as great as usual, making the film worth a good outing! My rating would be: 3.5/5

Veeram - A perfect blend of mass action, comedy, romance and sentiment. Director Siva has read audience pulse perfectly. I feel it has the best ever introduction scene for Ajith when compare to his other films which justifies his nick name "Thala". This movie fully revolves around Ajith and I doubt if any other hero can create this much impact for this character.Pros: 1. Ajith's action is phenomenal. To mention a few his Introducton, tender auction scene, train fight sequence, festival fight, the climax flight . 2. Comedy from actor Santhanam which made me laugh at last. Some quality comedy from him after many crap movies. But still if he should have reduced those few double meaning comedies it would have been more quality.3. DSP's BGM which is a big support in many scenes. It is his BGM which makes us feel the real mass of Ajith in many scenes.4. Cinematography is pretty awesome. A full 100 marks for the cinematographer. I loved his introduction scene and auction scene camera work.5. No overacting Tamannah which I feel is another plus for the movie.Cons: 1. Songs not that catchy as everyone already expected. Very poor choreography for couple of duet songs. The worst is Thangamae Thangamae song followed by Kannum Kannum song. Producer's money wasted in foreign location. But still the Intro song and the festival song is watchable.2.Actor Thambi ramaiah. Felt a little Irritating acting. Just remembered this character suits aptly for a comedian like Vadivelu. 3.Ajith's second half shaved getup takes little time to accept. Not seen him like that for many years. Was surprised and happy to see late actor Abdullah (a) periyar dasan in this last movie. All together Veeram a perfect mass entertainer which satisfies not only Ajith fans but all kind of audience. And now we can expect Income Tax ride in producer's house. My Verdict : Veeram a 8 star rated movie which can be watched in theaters multiple times for that one introduction scene of the Great Thala Ajith.

Ajith as Vinayagam shines in every glimpse with extraordinary screen presence & charisma. The story (though not new) is tailor made with all the necessary elements of a commercial entertainer. Will be an enjoyable watch for the whole family.Ajith fans would love to see their man with village makeover that aptly suits him on every frame. Oh man.. the dialogues were awesome... feels more like a real life experience. Ajithkumar being a hero in real life too, makes those dialogues more meaningful. The sentiment scenes in the second half of the movie may seem redundant, but still watchable... as it is well matched up with excellent performances from Nasser, Thamanna & rest of the crew.Overall a nice family entertainer that will be a sure shot blockbuster for this festive season...
