wjw-95700 Please just dont.I work in this field and was greatly (greatly!) disappointed in the accuracy of this film, I counted 10+ disparities in the movie before I stopped caring.I also dont like horror movies but figured I'd give it a shot! Not at all scaring!! (which was great for me because I got to watch it all, but this is not a scary movie)The acting is laughable at points, the entire first 30 minutes were super uncomfortable to watch and caused me to check my emails twice.The plot is super spotty and unbelievable.The only upside to this movie is that it can say it was filmed on an iPhone, and thats it. I didnt notice it was filmed on an iPhone which bravo to the film crew, but its worthless when it comes to producing a good movie

realityinmind The movie was written by a couple of guys who have only written comedies. I assume this was supposed to be a dark comedy but Soderbergh got a hold of it and got rid of all the humor. Anyone who knows anything about the medical industry and mental health hospitals knows that this is not how things go down. This is so unrealistic... it would be much more believable as a comedy. I will sit through the whole thing but won't watch it a second time. Smh @ Soderbergh for even touching this thing.... after such a masterpiece as The Knick I just don't get why he would fiddle with this script. 5/5 tops.

kyboomer . I do not think people understand this movie. It is a psychological thriller. You can assume that if this place is as crooked as it appears they would find a way to keep the main character hospitalized.The way it is filmed gives it an even darker appearance. I have watched it twice. The first time I could not decide who was crazy and who was not. The thriller aspect had me on the edge of my seat and the ending had me wondering, "wow, maybe she is crazy."I gave it a 7 because her mother was killed yet she did not seem to be too traumatized. It is a great Friday night go to movie.

ajstuns This is the best soderberg movie i ha d ever seen. it tells how all these corrupted mental hospitals around the world works. never mind the negative reviews put by mental hospital employees or psychologists. trust me, the movie is a must watch. the only problem in the movie is it's unnecessary action sequences at the end.
