Animation great, it follows the style of Heavy Metal or Cool World. Problem is a weak cast, poor character development, and just plain boring. I knew what it suppose to be, but there is no story. Totally uninteresting

With a rather believable premise, Titan A.E. is no doubt a fascinating movie to hear about in conversations. When you actually watch it, though, expect it to just barely exceed expectations. The story emphasizes action over its other elements, and though the action is OK, the rest of its composition leads it to be predictable in a few places. To its credit, though, the plot twists were very nice and didn't seem all that out of the blue. The characters aren't boring and some can even be relatable, but they end up being more tolerable than fun to watch. The main strength of its film is that by 2000 standards, the animation is well mixed and brings out some nice effects. They aren't blowout awesome like The Iron Giant, but I still went "Whoa" at a few points. The songs were average, being the typical turn of the millennium pop songs that aren't catchy or insulting to the ears. Thought should be taken by you before you see it, but I would give the green light if you're a Bluth buff or are just super curious.

Years ago I went to the movies just to see a show. I didn't care what it was just as long as it was age appropriate and killed a bit of time. So I watched this movie. I was not disappointed. I found myself being sucked into the story and the plot. I think of that day as a turning point in my life in how I view animation. It seemed to me more life like than anything I've ever seen before. The plot is easy enough to follow if you pay attention. Probably not good for young children just because they might find it difficult to follow. As an adult though its easy and enjoyable. It's an amazing piece of science fiction and I can honestly say I never regretted the day I walked into that theater.
