You can say what you want about Michael Jackson. He was truly a talented, musical genius. This documentary featured what might have been his final concert tour if he had lived to see it happen. The production design was unbelievable. The dancing, music and scenery with special effects were awe-inspiring. Michael was truly a perfectionist. This film chronicled the preparation for the final concert tour. He sadly passed away too young. Michael Jackson or MJ was blessed with a gift of musical genius to present his music in new and innovative ways.

Michael Jackson is back from the dead? No! But is the movie, "This is It", cool? Hell, yeah! "This is It" takes us on a behind-the-scenes tour of the originally planned MJ concert, "This is It". This movie tells us about Michael Jackson planning his final concert that will never be made, since his untimely death. The movie brings us in the middle of the action where we see a glimpse of the many stage rehearsals and concert film footage. I thought this movie helped honor Michael's memory, besides not talking about his death, and I enjoyed listening to all of MJ's classic pop music once again, since it's been a long time I have heard them. My favorite scenes in the movie were actually MJ rehearsing my favorite songs including "Smooth Criminal", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Thriller", "Beat It", and "Billie Jean". The music was popping, the dancing was rocking, and the movie contains a real heart meaning that even though the King of Pop is gone, he will remain in our lives forever, while we still hear his music, and we still dance his moves. "This is It" is a must-watch behind-the-scenes documentary, and trust me, you will be singing to the songs, and dancing in your seat, just like I did. "This is It", in my review, "a popping and rocking jukebox movie, with a Michael Jackson twist".

I have to say, I never was a big fan of Michael Jackson but watching this documentary made me think very different on him musically. Most the time I just never bothered to listen to the man. But this is a must watch for a music fan. Anything you may have thought of the man "He's overrated" for instance, please take the time and watch This Is It. You will think completely different of him.For a musician that has the money and power to create such a blasting show and have computers to do CGI, for one, Michael didn't have to go all out and make every dance move correct and work his aged body, but he did it and it proved he truly had a passion for what he did.The band; what can I say? Jackson has a legacy of starting careers for musicians. Orianthi shows what made her wonderful on her solo album, along with all the other musicians.I will not spoil the rest but go out and watch it, this movie is AMAZING!!!
