guil fisher This leading lady was annoying from beginning to the end. Her voice made me cringe. As if she were 10 years old. Her bug eyes also didn't help. She went through the entire movie with this look of surprise. As if she saw a ghost. I had no empathy for her at all because she was such a bad choice for a rather inept script. Most of the remaining cast went through their blocking and lines as though they were in a trance. Not a redeeming value to this terrible movie. Waste of time. Hope you didn't have to pay to see this silly film. I haven't mentioned names of the cast, director, writer or producer in respect of hoping they have learned by their own mistakes and not to do something like this to the public again. And please, take this off the air. It doesn't represent LMN at their best nor worst.
Little_Tyke Having initially read the several negative reviews here, I was beginning to wonder whether we'd all watched the same film. I was not expecting much, because the TV guide only gave it one star, but those star ratings have been wrong before -- and they're wrong this time, too! The movie deserved three stars, definitely. As for Danica McKellar, this is the first time I've seen her since The Wonder Years and to begin with I didn't recognise her. Then, after a few minutes, I began to think, yes, I have seen this actress somewhere before, and suddenly that cute smile came back from so many years ago. She's a total stunner now.The movie was fairly predictable, and there were a few loose ends. But watch out for SPOILERS in what follows next! Loose ends like the black cop who from the outset seemed to want to bang her up for life without a trial, so convinced was he that she was the perp. I wondered whether he had an ulterior motive. As afternoon TV movies go, this was above average and, boy, have I seen some total dross. This movie, however, IS worth your time!
William Cole I do not agree with the other negative reviews. I thought the movie was very good and would recommend highly. I thought the acting by Danica McKellar was great considering the majority of the movie was centered on Danica portraying her strong acting skills in this movie. She played her emotional parts in the movie extremely well and played her part in the court room defending herself to the point she spoke better than most lawyers especially the overweight joker lawyer her husband had retained to represent her. I must admit I did not suspect the female cop as being the one behind the attack on the prostitute in the garage. I knew the man who played her husband was guilty of having an affair with another woman but I did not put it all together until the end.
stewartlynn I thought Danica was great in this movie. The movie itself had a great cast, was great seeing "Hunter" back on TV. I have to say the story lagged a little midway and could have used a little more suspense and a little more drama but all the actors were fantastic it's definitely something I enjoyed watching on a Saturday night!! I thought it was very interesting watching with the perspective of the lead character, it sort of made you feel as helpless as the character felt, and kept you wanting to see someone stand up for her. The lead character taking charge was wholly satisfying. It was someone taking control of their own fate I loved that aspect of the movie!! It wasn't a summer blockbuster but it was a great lifetime movie, it's the reason I love watching.
