davidhedrick-485-144160 i like this kind of movie, I thought I could tough it out and watch the whole movie and give them a break but it just keeps getting worse and worse. I did watch it to the end, I wish I hadn't.There are some truly bad zombie films out there and I grade on a curve, so in this genre even a crap film could get a few stars... this one I would give zero if that were an option. The story line is unique in that it steals plots and scenarios from many films in a unique combination, and it could be truly great with good acting and direction, sadly there is none. Nor is there good editing, sound effects or camera work. The writing, ahhhh! To the writers, go back to the fifth grade and listen this time! Spoiler alert (not really, but just in case) The hero finally transforms into a hulk zombie ninja and the action just gets ridiculous, I was expecting him to start jumping through the tree tops and do floating bicycle kicks or something, maybe transform into a dragon and crap zombies from his ass , sadly it was writers that were crapped out of his ass and more truly stupid scenes were to follow.
easywinn Honestly this is by far the best zombie movie I've seen in years. And thats saying a lot because im a huge fan of zombies. This movie has awesome characters that are unique and don't fit the normal cast of a zombie movie. The main character max is freaking awesome he doesn't speak he had a tragic screwed up childhood and he takes it out on zombies. He doesn't complain, and every time you think hes about to lose his sanity he starts freaking out by killing zombies with his 2 hatchets.Anyways.... The plot is pretty cool to... they keep it pretty straightforward and simple. The zombies look great excellent job on makeup etc... But the one thing i don't get is why the zombies run sideways in a weird monkey gait..... i guess the virus or whatever disables some part of there motor skills....some nice points i liked about the movie... -Zombies are fast and awesome looking -Max is the coolest zombie fighter I've ever seen (including comics I've read) -Max's Beard -More mohawks then I've ever seen in a movie...ever -MAx basically teaches the audience how to survive a zombie infestation the right way instead of the typical stupid ass decisions that zombie movie characters normally make -Proves arab (right? i think there arab, is that politically correct to say this?o well) can act in roles besides villains, or suicide bombers. -Great use of lighting and filming methods -Max's Beard... -max likes to screw with people lol...
runara94 What more is there to say..? This film sucks! Everything is bad; the acting, directing, the filming and the effects. The DVD-cover was attracting, but the film was rubbish! A friend of mine bought the film for 4 dollars, and we thought that this would be THAT good film because of the cover, as I mentioned earlier. It started as a pretty bad film, and transformed into something more worse as the time went. So, after watching it, I will not hesitate to put it on the list of the worst films I have seen in my life. And for those who say that it could have been worse: It could not have been worse!
anbur3 Please take the camera away from whoever got the chance to play with it and bury it deep, then take the film and burn it. This ill-conceived post-apocalyptic horror (and I write this with a feeling not unlike profound terminal toothache that someone may equate this with any decent film of these genres) has but one thing going for it - the chance to walk away and watch no longer. In a masochistic moment I managed to stay the course - in the belief that either a gut-wrenching funny or scary moment would occur. There are no scary, suspenseful scenes. This film gets one star for a few comedy horror moments but all the walking about in the woods in between isn't worth the wait.I would have preferred the zombies to win - at least they were trying to make it interesting. The musical score isn't to my taste but was the best of a really bad film.
