Generally speaking the cinematography these days just lost a human touch. But suddenly we can see in "Dotkniecie Aniola" the picture which is amazingly full of authentic tragedy and emotion – then simply makes you cry. But not because of some kind of big literature fiction – but because of the real story about real people whose sufferings during the Second World War in Europe were not comparable to any war dramas in the past. The movie is perfectly directed, pictured, and what is very important – edited. The new idea about animation of the heroes from old still pictures makes fantastic impression. And in the end, something what I wondering about from the very beginning – how the creators of this movie found such a great personality? After watching this movie a reflection comes to mind: how different this story is from Jerzy Kosinski's "Painted Bird"
