Synopsis

In the idyllic suburban distopia of Orange, the affable but clueless Paul agrees to be a drug courier for Mr. Ball who's about to take delivery of a drug rumored to be "more addictive than air." Against the better judgment of his best friend D., Paul does the deal for quick cash, but the supplier turns on him and murders D. in the ensuing shootout. Paul goes on the lam with the cash and the stash, but only after promising his dying friend that he'll flush it before Ball puts them in the street.

yeodawg A 2000 movie that looks like it was filmed in 90's shaky-cam optics. first of all everyone in this film has they're own philosophy, which is 20 times better than their own story. As they hustle and muscle to get by day by day. the cast is made up of anyone who thought they would be in the next RESERVOIR DOGS actor. Ex-rappers and models hoping to earn their SAG card. You've scene them in a thousand other films. Any ways the camera work is shaky the dial isn't it rings true. There's a lot of foreshadowing and flash-back. Everyone gets their camera time, to say their spiel and it actually pulls the story along. After you heir a gang- banger tell us how the government will market selling air to us, you'll know this is a good movie.
Seth Nelson What price would you pay for a movie like this? Air, perhaps? LOL Anyways, "The Price of Air" is one of those movies that, once the show begins, you are strapped on for the ride of your life. Everything about this flick totally appealed to me! I like all of the action sequences that this movie provides. As a matter of fact, I can just see myself hanging ten in midair right now as I am typing this up!!!!! In my true, honest to Pete opinion, "The Price of Air" is one of the great foreign action flicks of our generation. While some people may confuse this with a basketball flick, this movie is really a cliff-hanging thriller here for years to come.
henryhenry614 The Price of Air if a very moving film. It keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see if Paul and Anne are going to get away from the distributors of "Blue". "Blue" is the driving force of the action and is stunning to see how many would kill to get their hands on it.Shooting this movie on video allowed Josh to tell the story visually. Setting moods with color and contrast draws the viewer in to appreciate a great movie.Opening the movie with the ending adds some very creative editing. Editing that does not let you down the entire movie. Once you feel like you are getting comfortable with the flow the timing changes and so does the mood. Overall it is a wonderful film that should be seen by all.
ZMAN-15 In the bleak landscape of contemporary American cinema, there seem to be few who will do anything to shake it up. This film shakes it up. Not for everybody, as are hamburgers, but amongst the grim clutter there is a fresh voice that sings through this rough journey. Well worth the time to watch, and the hours later you'll spend thinking about it, as well.
