The girls are hot and actually interesting, not one of these modern cookie-cutter girls you see all around. Kate Upton with a "I'm not skinny and I don't care (mostly because I have big boobs, but, that is beside the point)" and Alexandra Daddario with those peculiar eyes, also do a decent enough job acting, which is actually a nice surprise for Upton. Story is also mostly OK, nothing special, but, based on real stuff (we've all seen these "girlfights for the guy" amongst our friends) and has the potential to be funny.Sadly, it's not. Funny. In all honesty, there are a few funny moments and some fun to be had, but, mostly, it's just these hotties doing crazy stuff. It's somewhat interesting and you do stay watching them, but, it's far from enough to make even a half-decent comedy.Apart from some problems in the script (like near the end, when Daddario "threatens" the principal, refusing to resign as a teacher, yet I don't think anybody has any idea what she threatens him with), the biggest problem seems to be the lack of "chemistry" between the leads, including the male (object of their affections). Look-wise, it's good casting. Otherwise, it's bad. The best chemistry we get from Upton and the "fourth wheel" guy they pick up along the way.Bottom line: you can watch these hotties in other stuff, so skip this one.

This so called movie is so freaking lame and bad. A comedy that couldn't make me laugh even once

After just watching this movies' trailer, it caught my eye, a nice light comedy with two beautiful women so I decided to give it a go, I had a good laugh and was entertained from beginning till end. I don't know why the bad reviews, this movie is way better than many movies I have watched that bored me to death. It is definitely a movie to see. I loved all the scenes and they were definitely funny that includes also other entertaining good comedians. A nice funny mini adventure with little bit of drama as well a good combination for a successful movie. Deserves an 8 for keeping me entertained. Someone said in one of the reviews that it was demeaning for women, it's not it's just a movie not a documentary.Would watch it again for sure!

2017 has been an overall awful year for comedies, with Baywatch, Rough Night, The House, and CHiPs being the big comedies of the year (although Logan Lucky and The Disaster Artist were pretty great). The Layover, starring Matt Barr, Kate Upton, and Alexandra Daddario, is an exception. It has a lot of bad jokes and forgettable performances, but in the end is way more fun to watch than The House or Rough Night. If you're looking for a bad but enjoyable comedy, look no further.
