I like that Japanese manga explores interesting themes such as this one: Being together with someone who can read your mind. It's been done in American movies but handled as almost pure comedy with one dramatic punchline, as far as I can remember. This movie brings a little bit of more realism into it, though not enough. The heroine is well defined as a socially awkward woman with an imaginative mind, which is the strong point of the movie, and the leading actress delivers that successfully. You would enjoy the movie quite much if you're used to reading manga or watching manga adaptations, since you would have a familiarity with plot structures like this one then. If not, the movie might strike you as unfinished or a little dry, especially the second part. It could have been better but still, quite an okay watch with actors/actresses easy on the eye, and a premise that entertains the mind.

Adopted from a manga, this movie follows the genres rules of using paranormal to express the characters' feelings. Fortunately, this works for this movie, because of the story: a girl who keeps daydreaming about impossible scenarios, meets mr perfect, a rich, handsome man who works for her office. But the guy has the strange ability to read minds. As he is attracted to her because of her fantasies, the two of them fall in love, but there is one bigger problem than his ability, his family. The movie has some funny moments and the romance is sweet. Even the daydreaming is cute, even though it gets a bit too much. The performances are good, especially from the leading lady, who is a delight, handling the crazy fantasies perfectly. However the movie does get a bit boring at the second half and kind of predictable. So, 5 out of 10.
