mawkowe This is "reality show" with a message that's actually got something useful to say. As you take the Journey with the filmmakers, you hear profound words of wisdom, advice and encouragement - all told firsthand from the experiences of a cross-section of our society. From everyday people, to CEO's, to politicians and celebrities. The commonality of the message is the backbone of the plot. Piecing together those ideas and themes is the journey. And finally, contemplating the overall message is the ultimate reward. What you take from the story, is a fresh look at your own life's purpose and meaning, and most importantly a solution to help you move yourself in a positive direction. What's the point? Everyone of us in our society wants to wake up excited about the day, and go to bed feeling fulfilled.
Videoguy88 "Are you waking up excited and going to bed fulfilled." This is aquote from Eric toward the end of the film and it really sums up amain theme in this film. What are you going to do with the rest ofyour life?To me this film is so much more than a movie, because it reallyempowers people to go for their dreams. With so many powerfulstories and interviews in this film you can't help but be moved.Traveling across the county in a VW bus with Eric's dog, Jack, thefour travelers meet some truly amazing individuals. This is a filmwith a lot of substance and should not be missed.
BDB116 This movie is absolutely amazing. I have never been effected by a movie like I was after viewing this. I laughed, I cried, I thought long and hard about myself and where I was going in my life. There is such a strong message in this, I recommend this to everyone I talk to. But to attempt to describe it to anyone diminishes the film. It means something different to everyone and it is truly something you need to see. And luckily, it is now available on DVD, so everyone will be able to enjoy this film as much as I have. Demand that your local retailer or video store get this in stock! You will not regret the time you spend with Eric on his journey, nor will you will regret the time you spend after watching it thinking about your own journey in your life and exactly where you want to go. I cannot wait to see what Eric does next.
