cuatro33 If you can get away with scientifically inaccurate movies with ridiculous plots, and enjoy a cinematic experience of good CGI and over-the-top action, this is your movie. Forget all those critics who would like all Hollywood movies to be like Gone With The Wind or Amélie and just enjoy this disaster movie.Also, acting is good and plot makes even more sense than other movies like 2012 or Geostorm. I guess it got bad reviews because, as it uses to be, cast has no well-known actors in it.If you like movies like Volcano, The Day After Tomorrow, Deep Impact, San Andreas or The Towering Inferno, you will like this flick.

Adam Taylor Sure, not going to win any awards, but who cares? It's a great movie to just sit back and enjoy. Lots of great action, some laughs, and a way out there heist plan that naturally all goes very, very wrong.This isn't some subtle heist like the Oceans movies. This is a bunch of crooks taking advantage of a storm and getting outdone by a some people who were in the wrong place at the right time.The special effects were surprisingly good. The acting was quite well done for this type of movie. And the scenes were well set up and easy to follow (none of that million cuts action scene nonsense that a lot of big movies seem to be doing for some reason).Definitely a fun movie to sit back and enjoy.

dbsilverback-91481 Did they do any research for this movie? First all southern are hicks, typical hollywood. All southern police, sheriff departments are yahoos. Gulfport which has casino and a Air force base near by is portrayed as being stuck back in time. This would make a good Riff Track movie. Or need lots of alcohol, other recreational drugs to watch it

Michael Rivera By no means should you be taking a movie titled Hurricane Heist seriously. This is for the schlock crowd. Sure, it's played straight by the actors, but the humor comes from the sheer ridiculousness of the premise. It's silly and nonsensical, but it's a very well made movie-although the CG isn't good at parts (but maybe that's intentional). All the actors do a fine job. The pacing is good and I found myself actually really enjoying the final action scene. So if you want a lighthearted b-movie I'd suggest giving it a shot.
