I don't know if I enjoyed this movie or if I was just tied from the ambien but it had its moments where the scares were there but than others where not so much....The acting was pretty bad in general the lead girl was pretty decent the red headed chick should just stop acting all together. I like graham denmans character I thought he was funny and his black cousin lol.The kills were all pretty damn lame, graham's character was pretty important and he dies from a damn flying chair...wtf!Hey but at least we got to see mindy Robinson's boobies!!!The visuals were pretty much spot on,all and all I enjoyed this movie it's worth a rent

The Asylum seems to be making a lot of movies. Given this, you'd think they're making a profit on what they produce. Why not use some of this profit to hire actors with acting skill? Seriously! The entire cast sounds like they're reading the script cold... or phonetically! And while you're at it, bring in a real writer, someone who know how to avoid exposition.Whaley House is supposed to be the most haunted house in the country. So a bunch of kids sneak in (with the help of an employee) to see if it really is haunted. Problem is, I got so bored before anything happened that I started reading the directions on a bottle of screen cleaning spray.I understand that The Asylum cannot make an original film and resorts to making 'mock-busters.' This doesn't mean it can't make a good mock-buster. It should try... even a little.

I have to admit, I nearly gave up watching this during the beginning scenes. But, then I thought, maybe it's suppose to be a funny sort of horror spoof. And to be honest, I'm still not entirely sure. The acting, or script writing were the main culprits here. Some times, I would think, "Ah, here we go! Someone can act!" and then see a totally different character. One character just left me befuddled all together. The British talking medium. Again, I thought he was joking throughout most of it, and that in the end, "Hey, fooled you! I'm really just a tourist looking for some action!"...Or, something. Also, and I know it was low budget, but if you can't produce realistic gore and makeup effects, go the Hitchcock way. Less, is sometimes best. So, while I wouldn't say don't watch it, just keep in mind: low budget, sub-par acting, and early 80's special effects. And you're gold! Well, silver, k maybe that's even pushing it.
