Adam and wife build up a case for why Americans should just stop caring about what Brit's think about everything. The stupidity of all of the characters will have you cheering on the forest demons because the characters parents shouldn't have been allowed to procreate.

The hallow is a fairly typical horror movie, family stays in a secluded house surrounded by a forest and strange things start to happen. Despite this however it is still an enjoyable film to watch and the monsters are somewhat original. The atmosphere of the film is tense and is mildly scary for those of us horror fanatics. The acting was decent although at some stages the script leaves a little something to be desired. The make up and special effects teams are both to be applauded, great effects. There wasn't any real character development besides seeing how the characters react to the situations thrown at them. I did feel that the film was slightly dragged out and could've done with a few unimportant scenes being edited out. Overall though its a good one watch film.

The film technical is correct, the music is decent, actors and actresses do the work, but unfortunately, as in 95% of cases, the screenplay is rotten. It is a torture to listen to the film to the end.At the beginning of the film the score is 10 / 10. After 15 minutes we give it 6 / 10. After an hour you have to give 4/10 and really looking forward to the film ends. The only bright side of this film, even if his scenario is silly, is that it is less silly than the human species. The latter strives to do everything to destroy this planet in the name of God the Capitalist system and its valet the Money.Fortunately, robots will replace us by 1,000 years, robots will have no trouble to be smarter than us, a table being smarter than a human. But this is another story.

Not without a Few Problems, this is an Above Average Monster Movie with a Backstory of Irish Folklore. Set in the Woods (where else?) that Domain of Elves, Fairies, and other Not So Pleasant Creatures, the Movie makes the most of its Isolated Locale and Low-Budget.The Major Problem, and this may not be a problem for some Folks, is that Central to the Plot there is an Infant. A One Year Old that is in Peril from the Outset and the Danger and Fear of Harm to the Little One is in almost Every Scene. It's a Distraction. The Innate Human Condition is to Protect the Children, especially Infants. They are Completely Unable to Protect Themselves, therefore for Survival of the Species Human Beings have this Involuntary Impulse and Determined Desire for the Safety of a Child, and the Viewing Audience is constantly aware of the Baby at a Loss to everything else going on in the Film. It's a Distraction.Apart from that, but that is a Big Part of the Film's Failure to attain Higher Status, it is a Well Done Creature Feature with Emphasis on Creature. The Folklore Stuff is all but Abandon as is anything Approaching Character or Story Considerations. Once the Premise is Pronounced it's just "Evil Dead" Type Stuff without the Charm or the Intelligence. Kudos to the Creature Effects and the overall Look of the Movie. An Achievement All Around for the Filmmakers, but it's the Story, or Lack Thereof that Holds it Back from the Upper Echelon of the Genre.
