Always interesting to see, that in spite of the GDR's (German Democratic Republic - the communist block's half of Germany) obvious disapproval of anything royal, they'd always put a lot of love into the creation of those fun-for-the-whole-family-movies. Maybe because their messages were so morally approvable. But since this morality is pretty much universal, those movies also can be appreciated all over the world.The story is quite simple: Young princess gets betrayed, betrayal gets uncovered, true love wins, prince and princess get married, inherit the kingdom and live happily ever after as wise rulers.
