I really enjoyed "A Case For Faith". It was very well done. Putting forth a plethora of evidence and theological research on different topics like proof that Jesus lived, walked the Earth and was resurrected, and answering broad skeptical questions like, "If God is good why does He allow evil.", the documentary really gets to the heart of doubt. Being a student of apologetics myself, I heard a lot in information I already knew, but put forth in a way that any layperson could easily understand. I know this documentary is and will be a great help to those who are doubting their faith in Christ or who are skeptical of Christianity. Sad and poignant at times, yet happy and joyous at others, it really runs the gamut of emotions. The commentator's reiteration of Christian life not being easy or problem free was a great aspect. So many non-believers and even Christians tend to think that Christians lead perfect lives set apart from tragedy. Consisting of personal stories mixed in with theological ideas, this documentary really gives you food for thought. I loved it and will be recommending it to everyone I know.

The Case for Faith examines two questions that challenge the faith of Christians: 1) Why is Jesus the only path to God? and 2) How could a loving God allow evil in the world? The questions are presented in a context that suggests the discussion might help Christians offer answers to these questions to others that are skeptical of the Christian faith.I found the treatment of the questions uneven. I thought the film gave a stronger argument for the case for faith in consideration of the second question, although the treatment would have been stronger if opposition, such as a quotation from Bertrand Russell, had not been shrugged off so glibly. I found the case for faith presented for the first question lacking rigor, and not at all satisfying.I would say this material is somewhat worthwhile for those with curiosity about Christianity, and more so for Christians who are beginning a search for ways to help others that are struggling with these difficult questions of faith. I would caution that the treatment is too light for skeptics, or those deeply wrestling with these questions, to find much of value here.I rate this 8/10 for sincerity and effort, but 5/10 for depth.
