Synopsis

(Long Synopsis) "This action-packed, fantasy-fueled family adventure – inspired by the revered literary Christian classic, The Pilgrim’s Progress – overflows with outrageous characters, special effects … and a moral message. In The Wylds, young Chris (Solomon Ray) is a runaway living with a group of other misfit kids in a junkyard, all under the watchful eye of a Dickens-esque character who forces them to steal to survive. When Chris is caught pilfering at a church, the pastor protects him from the police, then challenges him to find his estranged father. Chris bravely chooses to leave his family of thieves and ventures into the wilderness in search of a better life. Traveling through a post-apocalyptic future – his only hope lies in reaching a heavenly paradise that will surpass his wildest dreams – he outwits bandits, escapes swamp monsters, battles evil robots and learns valuable life lessons about choosing the right path."

Matt Yaple Special effects and scenery are breathtaking?! Ya, I guess that's right... They make you want to die! Either that or stab your eyes out. Save yourself while you can and don't watch this movie! The acting is horrible, effects are so bad I can't even think of a word to describe them. Sound sucks, and well... Pretty much everything about this movie. There are much better Christian movies out there. Don't waste your money or time on this epic failure of a movie. Whatever you do don't buy this movie. Even if they are giving it away for free, Don't! Honestly I could go on all day but I think you get the idea. Long story short this movie stinks.
alexchloe-253-701510 Terrible effects. Terrible acting. Terrible film. It's basically about an orphan who goes to another world where there's a Prince (who's about as sinister as a bean and a world where there's robots which look like cardboard boxes. My family found this fantasy more of a comedy. We spent most of the time laughing at the special effects and the acting, both terrible. The climax too wasn't great. the Box said something like 'Great special effects' yet Electric city looked awful. DO NOT SEE THIS FILM. The best part of it was I am afraid definitely the end. In a nut shell it was a fantasy brimming with a clear low budget and do not put the DVD in your DVD player, put it in your bin.
slatromhsiloof Yet another "religious" group misleading innocent people into spending their hard earned money on what amounts to rotting garbage. The only message I got from this film is "don't trust religious organizations." Dishonest people make me sick. Dishonest religious people even more so. These people need to get right with God and return everyone's money for intentionally misleading them into buying this trash. Terrible, terrible film. Production values are below substandard, acting was on par with a grade school play, special effects look like they were done on a $200 notebook by a ten year old boy. I couldn't even follow the story as my mind kept drifting off to more entertaining thoughts- like taking out the garbage, and cleaning out the crud under the toilet bowl rim. Shame on everyone involved with this film. Passing this off as entertainment amounts to thievery. I expect this behavior from sleazy Hollywood producer types, not from people who call themselves Christians. Do not spend a dime of your hard earned money on this putrid mess. It only encourages these slimy, dishonest people to make more films like it in the future.
Kiera Mac I could tell right from the beginning I knew this film was going to be weird with the way it was filmed with. Some parts I liked but most of it was really strange. Was it even in the cinema? If I knew it was going to be filmed like this I don't think I would've brought it. Also it was nothing like Narnia so that was a complete lie and is probably what made people buy it because Narnia is a fantastic film. Overall the film was strange but I have that kind of sense of hum our so I liked it even though it was filmed really bad and the acting wasn't too good. There was parts that made me laugh but I wouldn't advise anyone to buy it.Everyone in my family find it strange.
