Seth_Rogue_One This was one bad movie, the only reason I rated it 2 instead of 1 is because I laughed out loud a couple times (for all the wrong reasons).Where do I begin? Well first off the movie especially in the beginning has very much of a porn-feel to it and all the females in the movie except for the lead more or less acts like they belong in a pornmovie with tons of sexual innuendos thrown right and left, some directed at underaged models (classy).I really did thing there was gonna be a lesbian threesome or foursome at a couple points into the movie. But nothing like that actually takes place, instead we get a lot of footage of young women in their underwear up close and personal (remember this is still not a porn movie). The actual movie though is suppose to be like a art-house psychological thriller I think but yeah it fails miserably at being that. It's just bad, occasionally laughably bad but those moments are rare so I wouldn't recommend watching it for those reasons either.I guess the director thought that he could make the movie less crappy by adding stupid effects here and there and occasionally going black and white and chopping the vid up like crazy at random moments, but yeah it didn't really work.Skip this movie.
sally-231-843161 I've followed John Walcutt's career since watching him in Jag episodes. I was also lucky enough to watch Niky's Birthday Camera about 5 years ago at an Independent festival in Bend, OR. I expected great things from Termite. It did not disappoint. Walcutt's techniques continue to impress. Termite brought me suspense, laughter, surprise, and the desire to watch again for things I might have missed the first time. I recommend this movie to anyone wishing to see something other than the "ordinary" movie at local theaters across the nation. This should have anyone on the edge of their seat. Too Nice Guys make a perfect team. Keep up the mystery and intrigue. John, I will watch everything you make.
