Grissom66 A motorcycle saga that chronicles the personal journey of two brothers who overcome emotional and physical obstacles to achieve success in the competitive world of Supercross racing. The brothers? conflicts are magnified by their different life choices and their decision to become competitors and rivals.KC Carlyle (Steve Howey) is a more cautious rider than younger brother Trip (Mike Vogel), who has more natural talent but takes too many risks. When KC gets an all-expenses-paid "factory" (corporate sponsored) ride, a rift forms between the two brothers. Trip is forced to go it alone, becoming a ?privateer,? a rider without a sponsor. But when a career threatening crash ends Trip's Supercross career, he and KC realize they must put aside their conflicts and work together to help KC defeat the world's greatest Supercross champions. Supercross 4/10
smashyan I'm going to keep this short and simple because I have to move on to more important things, this movie was awful with extremely bad acting. I hated every second of it and left before the half-way mark, don't waste your money on the DVD. I have to keep writing more before IMDb can accept my comment so here goes nothing. I hated the actors, not that i have anything against them, it's just that their acting was the worst that I have ever seen in this movie. Maybe I've being unfair to them, maybe their acting sucked because of the crap they had to read, so let me touch on the writers in a couple of sentences. The stuff they wrote was pure crap-the worst of its kind. These were lines you'd expect to hear in bad 80s porn movies. I think I lost all faith in teenage sport movies (LMAO) after watching this one! Word to the wise: stay away from this movie and just watch taxi driver.
yzbikeboy Being a motocross racer myself, i must say that the footage was pretty cool. I thought it lame how they should show facial expressions in the helmets of the riders. I was confused about the "NAMI" company. I hate how Hollywood tries to create an off-brand that will eventually overthrow Honda or Yamaha. The NAMI bikes were clearly just fancified CRF450's. In the drag race, Tripps bike was supposed to be a cr250r. Then it magically turned into a four-stroke that makes noise like a two-stroke. I hate when some dumb-ass producer attempts to recreate an image of a sport that is just starting to grow. I didn't like how these two clowns just entered a race with nothing after-market except for their slicks. Finally! SOmething thats real! Thanks for a fairly nice looking woman, and a flick that has a plot. But take some note from Disneys "Motocrossed".
Sin I really think much of watching this movie. I only watched it to pass some time up. When the credits started I noticed Sophia Bush and finished it. Thank god I did! Supercross was actually a pretty good movie. It only did a drop at the theaters because not much publicity. But it is so underrated for a sport movie. Most sport movies are public within time of a release date. Anyway, Steve Howey, Mike Vogel, Sophia Bush and Cameron Richardson star in this Dramatic movie. When you reach 30 minutes you are mostly glued to the script and screen. Supercross is a great movie, aimed for mostly a younger audience, but everyone will probably like it. I give it two thumbs up and 100 stars out of 10 stars. .bryce.inman.
