caue rego (cregox) Not sure why I rated this 7 when I first watched it, about 6 or 5 years ago. This is now the first movie I'm rating according to this brand new movie rating scale I just made precisely because I wanted to properly rate this flick - and it's a definite IMDb 10 for me, even while not perfect.I think the ending was a bit (spoilers) and there was this (spoilers) near the ending, which could have been better stitched. Other than that, all I know about the movie is what I read in the one review quoted below and here are my many kudos to Stevie Long! Really a piece of art. :smile:

writetopcat Two construction workers from the east coast just arrived in LA and low on money go to a bar to get drunk and leave without paying. They meet 2 young ladies who are at the bar because they heard it is a pickup spot for gigolos and they want some action. The guys don't realize this and think they are just getting lucky when one of the girls says "why don't we go back to my place and fool around?" They look at each other for a second and then back at the girls and say in unison "OK". This movie is really about how girls and guys look at sex and relationships. But it is funny and fun to watch. Guys will like this movie, even though some might think it is a chick flick in some ways. It is mostly told from a guy's perspective. It is very well written. It is well worth your time.

silver_tooth54 Just finishing watching this on Hulu so I figured I would do my best to tell the world what a wonderful film it is.This movie left me speechless and almost in tears. A perfect example of a diamond in the rough. It's nothing like your typical Hollywood romantic comedy. The story, plot and characters were touching and real. The movie grabs you right from the start with a fun and silly plot, but the characters are so developed and the acting so dead on that it doesn't seem like acting anymore. Doesn't matter what genre you might prefer, you'll love this one. Personally, I can't wait to tell everyone about this so I can watch it again. A must watch for anyone with a heart...yea, that means you. Great movie!When a movie blows you away so much that it leaves you feeling compelled to share it's greatest, well, then it deserves a 10.

iamcharlie Anyone with a brain can recognize the plain atrociousness of this film. First, the acting was unequivocally bad for each of the four leads. Second, the plot was predictable, cliché, and groan-worthy throughout. Third, this movie fails to live up to its genre of comedy. I didn't laugh once! Fourth, the movie makes no attempt to introduce or develop the female characters - and don't think that they are universal or represent standard gender roles. As for the two male leads, their development is more laughable than profound. Only this movie's slightly creative concept elevates it to two stars instead of one. Although this movie is free to watch on IMDb, it is not worth the time you will spend watching it.
