aggarwalira00 The plot is not too bad . The way the story is picked from where it was last left is awesome. I also loved the way the new crew is made up of star cast of the prequels. Oh My God! I just love Moose and that human robo guy. These two are the best. In General, The acting by the leads is nice. The dances are awesome (obviously). The last dance especially is great! The Leap of Faith that Andie takes is awesome. I just loved that. I also loved the following songs: 1. Every little step - Bobby Brown. (Sean and Andie dance in Clark inn).2. Lapdance - N.E.R.D (The Grim Nights against the mob in the bar: before Vortex.) 3. Revolution- Diplo. (The last dance by LMNTRIX) I keep on playing these songs on my phone on a loop. These are way too good. So Stay happy and enjoy the movie and the music!
Lara I've been a step up fan for a long time, and I've them all in DVDs. Unfortunately this one too (waste of money). My friend watched this movie in the cinema when it first came out and she told me it was GREAT! So I kind of had high expectations! But they are all crashed now. Anyways, this movie was predicted, horrid, and was full of repetitive dancing. But what drove me crazy was the poor acting. The cast were all dancers NOT ACTORS!!!! I was bored the whole time and to be honest i almost fell asleep a few times (I AM NOT KIDDING, IT'S THAT BAD). The only reason I gave five stars (which it originally deserves three) is because I loved The MOB! Yes i do. Step Up 4 aka Step Up revolution was amazing to be honest. I enjoyed the whole dancing thing, it was different if you asked me, i watched the whole movie twice in a day! I couldn't be any more exciting then the dancers first showed up and then they disappeared? wtf! Anyways, i actually was very much irritated at Sean and i thought he was a jerk. And the other star i gave was because of the ending. It was so predicted but i enjoyed seeing them all together. I need to say one thing more! I HATED ALEXA WITH PASSION.I rolled my eyes pretty much all the time she showed up. Fake, horrible, ugly acting! I am sorry if i sound rude, Izabella is so pretty but screw the director who couldn't fit her in a better character!
bravesfanc I've been a Step Up fan from the beginning, I enjoy the dancing (considering I am unable to do so) so when you watch a movie like this you get what you expect. The acting is OK but the dancing is fantastic and I would say better than the previous installment of this series. No need to go into details as to why they are dancing in a competition, if you like the dancing of the previous films, you will definitely enjoy it in this one. Watch something else for the acting or storyline. The dancing is by far the best I've seen on film. It's a 6/10 for me and I will continue watching this franchise until it stops.
Dr_Sagan Don't be fooled. This is not an actual movie. It is a dancing show! The plot is minimal and cheesy. Young people who want to have a chance to fame while doing what they love most. Dancing. Any other plot elements like a couple of small dramas are short-lived and superficial.Soooo, it all about modern dance. Pop music, hip-hop, breakdance. In that department the "movie" is OK. If you aren't too much into it, you may find your self bored near the end since the later moves are not better than those at the beginning of th movie. This is the 5th part of a series of films, but it doesn't matter if you missed the previous ones.Overall a dance spectacle more than a movie with lots of modern music and some fancy acrobatic moves.
