STEALTH is an incredibly bad Hollywood blockbuster and the worst I can think of of its type. It's an adventure story about a new fighter jet imbued with artificial intelligence that goes rogue after a lightning strike, leaving the human pilots with no option but to attempt to take it down. It sounds workable on paper but in terms of execution this is appalling stuff indeed, a mindless CGI adventure and nothing else. The story points are ludicrous and unbelievable, the characters cardboard-thin and clichéd. The film is nearly all action, action depicted by CGI which must have looked awful on release and looks awful now. You feel like you're watching someone play an old Playstation 2 game, not a film with real-life jets and hardware. There's a trio of heroes: Josh Lucas, wooden beyond belief; Jamie Foxx, awkward and out of place; Jessica Biel, basically treated as a sex object by the director.Outside of the awful effects, there are some hilarious moments in this. The Americans manage to shoot down a couple of Russian fighter jets over Russian airspace as well as pretty much invading North Korean and blowing up their defences and a helicopter at the same time. Apparently there's no comeback after these hostile incursions; no WW3, just gung-ho flag-waving and sentiment. STEALTH really does have to be seen to be believed because as bad films go this is one of the very worst.

"Stealth" is an Awful Movie Starring Josh Lucas, Jamie Foxx, and Jessica Biel, an Iraq War Propaganda Piece released during that Middle East Debacle. The War in Iraq was Raging when this bit of Nonsense made its way into Theatres. It Could be Called Sinful, and it has. But Unlike "Jet Pilot" (1957) this is at Least Entertaining on a Video Game Popcorn Planet where Thinking is Discouraged and Waving the Flag is Encouraged. From the Get-Go the Action Never Stops. It is one Hair-Raising and Mind Numbing Scene after another. There is No Time to Think, and that's a Good Thing if there is any chance to Enjoy this Critically Demolished Movie.Everything Looks "Pretty" as if War is a Postcard to make Us Forget just how Immoral it has a way of becoming in the "Heat" of Battle and in the "Cold" Political Arena. "Mission Accomplished"If You have any Concerns about the Philosophy and Political Mindset of Modern Day War (on terror), it's best to Stay Far Away from this Problematic Picture. But if You are Smart Enough to Recognize what's Going On here and View it in Perspective, as Reprehensible Rot-Gut, that can be Blasted for its Lack of anything Approaching Intellect, the Movie can be Called the Cinematic Equivalent of Fast and Furious Food. The Film must be Forgiven a lot of things to keep from Throwing Up. Like its Dollar Menu Brethren there is No Nutrition here or anything of Substance. It Exists to Fill a Need for many Folks, to be Entertained, and at the Same Time, Pump Up the Citizenry. It Certainly Pumps the Adrenalin and in that regard it is Successful if not Commendable.

first of all i love Rob Cohen i am a hardcore fan specially of his 2 films the fast & the furious 2001 & Triple X 2002 that he made with Vin diesel they are still the best films ever made the reason is Rob Cohen makes magic when the genre is grounded to reality & it works for him.this time Rob Cohen was out of his head just what the hell was he thinking before making this trash film is beyond me just look at the genre please it is Science Fiction something this guy never done before i am not saying he failed to direct or something he did his best here the direction is great with all the planes action sequences & Cgi etc but remember this guys this is a Michael Bay type of film given to a wrong man this film stealth 2005 is a bad curse on Rob Cohen's resume & right after this films release his career went down so bad he directed the most awful films like Alex cross the mummy & recently the boy next door 2015 i mean what can the guy do the script was terrible & it was not his field of operation & genre.the Sony Studios & producers made a very wrong choice by hiring sir Rob Cohen as much as i respect him i have to say it was quite his fault too i mean rob could have talked to those James bond producers & asked them to gave him a job for directing a 007 film it would have been a blast xXx 2002 is a masterpiece.the whole cast is wasted here & what were Jammie Foxx & Jessica Beil doing here they are good actors but why did they signed the contract for this film.this film came out in 2005 right a decade is passed & usually i love watching films from the past & revisiting them to see it for the second time & honestly Stealth is nowhere near that in my list yes it is this horrible.the plot:just where is the plot, narrative & proper story for this may i ask the film is set in future where navy develops stealth plane that runs on artificial intelligence & hi tech computer systems it is designed to do impossible missions & fight the enemy & also has less chance of making a mistake then human pilots do but things do wrong as it goes corrupt & starts making decisions on its own & goes rouge.now i told you the plot the rest of the film is usual how the good guys will stop the plane before it starts a new world war.this movie appears as intelligent but looks quite stupid this is more like a comedy then a action sci-fi it aped all those famous films like top gun & etc & failed hard.not rob Cohen's fault the camera work is awful as a lot of action was going on the air & green screen & not real locations rob Cohen never uses Cgi unless required now this film is filled loaded with it.who wrote the dialogs, story & the technology is used here is bogus the recently released avengers age of Ultron 2015 film has the same concept & Ultron goes rouge no i am not recommending avengers both of these films are worst.stealth 2005 is like a never ending video game the runs itself without the played controlling the moves, this is not entertaining at all not even a single scene is worth mentioning the whole film is boring but the funny situation comes when Jessica Beil lands in some Korean location then comes a hilarious climax with the plane sacrificing itself.i just don't know how anyone would enjoy this & hate John woo films for the first time ever the critics were right this film was nonsense & not worth the price i bought the DVD & throw it away in the garbage after watching it first time it was so hard to sit through.my cousin likes this type of films she is 10 but i bet even she would say no to this film.stealth is so idiotic that it is not even worth the time for TV premier.what happened with Rob Cohen here same thing happened with John woo in 2003 with Paycheck 2003 he said it it was not his thing it was like a matrix gone wrong for gods sake these guys are regular action filmmakers not everyone is James Cameron.if anyone wants a good film please try to get hold of Broken Arrow 1996 of John Travolta that is one solid action film.i hated this film & i blame the studio for this no wonder this was a box office flop.this flick as "it sucks" written all over it the poster however is fantastic though. Overall Stealth 2005 is a dumb film for kids & simply a waste of time & money so whatever you do just don't buy the disc at any cost my rating is 2/10:Skipp It.

So this is not a great movie but it's better than the majority of bad reviews.Yes the plot is so-so, yes it's just lots of action with no major plot twists. But the fact is if you go into it knowing this, it's a fun movie with action, explosions and more. Were you a fan of xXx (no not porn, the action movie)? Then you will like this. It's not a movie to watch with the girl friend or wife, it's strictly a guy flick.I would not pay $11 at the theater to watch it but it's worth a rental or free on TV watching especially if you are in the mood for blowing stuff up type movie.
