DCfan This is the final from the prequel trilogy and is chronologically the third movie of the franchise.After the events of Attack of the clone and both clone wars cartoon (if any of you are/were following those). The senator was kidnapped by count dooku then Anakin and Obi Won go and face him to save. We are then introduced to General Grievous and his droid army.This movie was good at explaining Order 66 when Commander Cody and the clones were ordered to betrayed and kill the jedi and, when Anakin turns to the dark side and becomes the monster you see in the original trilogy. Meanwhile, Padme is pregnant and about to give birth to Luke and Leia. Out of the prequel trilogy this my favourite as had the most tear jerking and heart crushing moments.The only thing which never made sense was that Anakin says to Count Dooku that he hasn't seen him ever since he cut off his hand and he also says to General Grievous "You look shorter then I expected" where as in the clone wars Anakin is see in lots of episodes fighting Grievous and Count. I know the show wasn't thought of at the time but I think it's still worth mentioning.Have a good day everyone and may the force be with you.

Now, this is what we want. This is what we're waiting for how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, became one of the most phenomenal antagonists ever in any trilogy. This movie is also for the first time used PG-13 rating in which the whole trilogy used PG on it. For the first time, George Lucas finally able to make and go further into the story for an original Star Wars trilogy that has been released first. This time, Revenge Of The Sith gives a story which is so dark and all the actors and actresses also executed a very phenomenally performance in this movie. This is the final three prequel from the Star Wars trilogy and becomes a connection to the original story.It's promising that the first impressions seem to flow optimistically but slowly. However, the story will start to change little by little as the story goes. A movie which shows how the Anakin Skywalker character that's increasingly falling into the dark side and also the relationship between teachers and students, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are the most uplifting. Of all the Star Wars trilogy, this episode, what I understand, is the most emotional, gloomy, saddest, and suffering ever. The development of the Anakin character which is more overwhelmed by its contrary perspective which leads to manipulation is well-developed. The conflict was more apparent especially the relationship between Obi-Wan and Anakin which was like a bromance thing but was ended in a grim situation. The Jedi Council, which was declared useless, finally got their consequences.As well, Obi-Wan who fails to become a teacher like Qui-Gon didn't succeed even though in his deep inside heart, he still considered Anakin as his son. George Lucas's effort to create a rich atmosphere from the story which was also actually complex suddenly changed drastically. Sure, this movie still has a point about political conspiracy from The Phantom Menace until this episode. But, this movie is about Anakin. The movie we want from the beginning. Palpatine as the manipulator character is one of the best and he is able to do so with various attempts at destroying the Jedi council from little by little until the chaos of his behind the scenes is one of the best. For some reason, this is one of the series that I think hit us harder more than anything because everything in this movie knows whether it's the characters or what it has and it brings out the most intense emotional surface. Sure, there are some scripts which it still feels awkward and cringes like in the previous prequel but this takes the cakes.A successful effort he made smoothly at the beginning became the most Star Wars prequel trilogy movie that was able to show all the scenes with full importance and meaning for the original story. George Lucas doesn't seem to just sit silently from behind the scenes because the visual effects are so magnificent from the beginning of the opening scene which is no less excellent than the original and visual effects shown on various planets. Even so, I still like the first opening in The Empire Strikes Back. There is a lot of memorable scenes which are the most recognized in this film, such as the final lightsaber fight at the end, the scene when Anakin and Palpatine talked about the dark side of the Force, Anakin Skywalker who turned into a psychopath, and Grievous as the cameo from Star Wars: The Clone Wars even though he became one of the useless characters but, why not? All choreography from fights and duel between lightsaber is well-executed perfect. It's like one on one duel who is dancing using the lightsaber but in an aggressive yet elegant style.Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi isn't too great and same as his performance in previous films. Hayden Christensen is so damn great at this movie. Regardless of the script that feels shallow, he shows an expression that is so brutal from someone who is hungry for the superpower and just wants to save his beloved wife in order to reach it, he does everything. Same with Natalie Portman as she's so different in this movie and not like the previous trilogy movies. Ian McDiarmid is one of the truly best at this point and of course, he is the one who acts the most important role of all the characters, from manipulating Anakin to showing the true origins. The visual effects of Yoda also look very nice and emotional in certain scenes with Frank Oz's support as the voice actor. John Williams is awesome in composing the scores. It's so brilliant and emotional especially at the end of the movie when it shows the birth of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker together is just one of the emotional scenes which have ever existed in the Star Wars trilogy.Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith isn't the best from all the Star Wars trilogy but can be said to be the best of both prequels. George Lucas bravely enough to step forward and organize a story which was dark and gloomy, various characters filled with various emotional and feelings. The visual effects aren't excessive, some cameos which have some small details are also not too swaying for the aspect. This film is able to give a clear impression and meaning to the original story and is able to make the most important connection.

Robert Ayotte Revenge of the Sith has a special place in my heart. It came out in theaters when I was still a kid, and it was the one I probably watched the most growing up. I know nearly every line of dialogue and can recite lines on command. As a kid, it was probably my favorite Star Wars movie. But then, I grew up and realized that the movie has tons of flaws, sharing many of the problems that the other prequels have.It has become clear to me that many people really love this movie, claiming its one of the best Star Wars films, etc. While I agree that there are many aspects of the movie that are great, the film has so many problems that people are overlooking for some reason. Good movie? Yes. Perfect movie? Far from it.Let's start from the beginning. Revenge of the Sith has a gigantic opening action sequence, as Obi-Wan and Anakin try and rescue the Chancellor from General Grevious's ship. There's a lot here to like. Some of the banter between Obi-Wan and Anakin is pretty solid, considering there was none in any of the previous two movies. The lightsaber fight involving Count Dooku is very well done and way better than the one at the end of Attack of the Clones. However, the opening also contains horribly written dialogue, mostly coming from Anakin. The film attempts to have Anakin and Obi-Wan talk as if they have a great, brotherly relationship even though we haven't seen anything of the sort at all in the other films. There is a huge reliance on CGI here as well.Why is General Grevious in the movie anyway? We haven't seen this character at all yet. He is randomly and awkwardly introduced in the beginning of the film for no reason at all, just to die about an hour later at the hands of Obi-Wan. We are told nothing about this character, nor are we given a reason to care about him at all. The horrible dialogue from the beginning lasts throughout the entire film, especially in the dull and forced scenes between Anakin and Padme. The over-reliance on CGI is a problem throughout this film, and it has become more apparent as the years go on. When Obi-Wan is chasing General Grevious (who shouldn't even be in the film) on a dragon-reptile thing, it looks ridiculous and unnecessary. When Order 66 happens, it's very sad and well-done, but the Jedi getting killed have gotten virtually no screen up to this moment, so we have trouble caring about their deaths. One of my biggest issues with the film lie in Anakin's eventual turn to the dark side. It's so abrupt and awkward, as Palpatine randomly knights him as 'Lord Vader" as if he pulled the name out of a hat. Granted, the fight between Palpatine and Yoda is pretty badass, but the fight between Obi-Wan and Anakin goes on far too long. Its cool to look at with the raging lava and all, but it drags on for eternity, with virtually no dialogue throughout to slow things down. You should never be bored during a lightsaber fight, but here I was. And I'm not even going to mention the atrocious NOOOOO once Anakin is actually put into his suit.It may seem like I'm bashing this movie a lot, but I actually do like the film quite a bit. I just struggle to understand when people say this is their favorite, as it has nearly every flaw that the other prequels had.

First off, i am a huge star wars fan and watched the originals and prequels several times, with empire strikes back being one of my favourite movies. I will have to admit george lucas and his career are going down the drain nowadays but he had something that the new star wars films(with the exception of rogue one) could not beat: imagination: Positive: Lightsaber fights The acting is the best out of all of the prequels( though samuel l jackson feels out of place in this franchise, hayden christensen is sometimes unbalanced in his performance but his performance has improved) The visuals obviously No more jar jar binks moments(except for two brief appearances) The story is dark and one of the best stories in the star wars franchise since empire strikes back. Bad: some of the dialogue can be irritating A few unanswered questions(look at star wars the clone wars for answers)Overall, in the franchise if i had to rate this film i would rate it higher than the prequels(due to its darker tone and emotional stakes) but lower than the originals(there is no beating them) and higher than any star wars film that has come out from 2015 onwards(thanks to george lucas). i would like to thank Lucas for creating this franchise and ending it with a satisfying bang.
