Elika Crespo is a pretty face and some of the soundtrack is alright, but the technical aspects and film choices of the movie really butcher the story. While the story is clean, simple, and easy to follow, and the acting is so/so, the main problem of the film is the DVD transfer. I'm willing to overlook a few hings due to what filmmakers can do on a low budget, but eventually, the occasional audio track is not in sync (and it isn't a dub) and the *very* noticeable jerky HDV movement from start to finish overwhelms with distraction. It causes an awkward, slow pace where there shouldn't be any. In addition, the "tech specs" on this page isn't 2:35 but 1:85.
