nelufar_up Unfortunately this is one of the horrible comedy movie. Just watched it until interval and could not continue beyond it. Drawbacks: 1.) Comedy is very forced instead of being situational and in-flow with the story. 2.) Continuity in the story is lacking. For example Bobby-Sukh's friendly relationship is never established. Sukh's friendly inclination towards Jassi is never explored. Audience is just made to believe it through Bobby's passing comments. Inspite of macho introduction why Jassi all of a sudden became timid guy was very strange and unbelievable. 3.) Music is nice but again not in sync with story. I won't even consider it watching once!
shokiegupta Worst movie seen in recent times, complete disaster! Its not action, neither comedy. It doesn't even have a good story line.It doesn't even reflect the true 'Sikh' believes, faiths, customs. Not sure how it passed those tests......sucks!I am not sure how stars like Ajay and other could even do this kind of movie. Sanjay - I can understand, that he can do such movies.Dialogues have been repeated too many times than required. The movie has been interspersed with illogical and weird action sequences. Songs make one pull one's hair in dismay.IMDb should have a 0 rating option for such movies! Ruined my Sunday Eve...!!!
Nikhil Gujar When I went through some negative reviews, I gave a second thought whether should I go and watch this movie in theater. But THIS MOVIES IS REALLY AMAZING AND FULL OF COMEDY. I really do not understand from where these negative reviews are coming from. I really loved the Sardar type unique jokes right from the start and the perfect Punjabi environment. But yes, few animations in the beginning of the movie is not up to the mark, which is fine. It has Dabang style fight scenes which is awesome. The timing of comedy between all the character are in very well sync. Overall I was very much satisfied with this movie. I recommend everyone to watch this movie and decide on their own rather than going through ratings or negative comments.
DareDevilKid Film: Son Of Sardar (2012)Rating: 1/5 starsReviewed By: DareDevilKid_DDKI didn't even expect a semblance of a plot, but I did expect some wacky entertainment. Alas, this just smelted into the recent spate of mindless ho-hum.The jokes are insipid & the gags ludicrous. Authenticity is smothered with fake Punjabi accents (except for Juhi Chawla who fruitlessly endeavors to infuse some respect in the proceedings) & faker scenarios. Its all the more infuriating when you realize that the filmmakers have mutilated the legendary Buster Keaton's classic comedy, "Our Hospitality".Most disheartening is the rapid decline of Ajay Devgn as he makes an even stronger case for certified dementia - his repertoire is plummeting into a cesspool of muck at an alarming velocity & ominously threatening to eradicate the credible undertaking associated with him in the past, but what else can you expect from an individual who blatantly asserts that 'movie-making as the end of the day is purely a business & nothing more'.Bad..........bad..........no, just plain terrible......avoid at all costs!
