I'm surprised there are not more comments on this one. It exists in a good sub-titled disc form. A couple of skate boarders get a drug killing on their camera 'phone and spend the movie being pursued by the heavies. The film echoes The WARRIORS crossing their city.SKATE OR DIE lively if minor. The film holds attention with it's constant movement - boarders racing along the Paris boulevards and through Metro passages. The film making and performances are superior, even if the board work is unspectacular. The kids don't seem to find places cars can't go and the most imposing image is the roller blading cop pursuers at night, looking like something out of TRON.Contrasty 'scope Fuji images, pop song track and a good balance between action and minimal dialogue. It observes classic unity of time like TV director Coutrois' comedy Une JOURNEE de MERDE!

I believe this is one of the best films ever (i should be able to give it 11/10!). I also believe this film is a lot about skating - and who cares about 360s! These kids are being shot at for crying out loud; they're not trying to entertain the crooked cops (le flic) firing at them. (Again) I believe that the person who wrote the last comment wouldn't know a good movie if it ran over them. I have one problem with the entire film - one and only one - which is that their skateboards appear and disappear. Other than that, Definitely worth watching. I've seen it at least 6 times and own it. Heard about it through my exchange student who gave it to my family. I thank him heaps for the opportunity to see such a great movie, ta ta for now, wouldntulike2no263 :)
