FountainPen I see there are a few very highly-rated responses to this film. I have to assume they are from cast or crew members. This is an abysmal attempt at making a horror movie, full of nonsense and unrealistic situations. It's not only the bus driver who is crazy and freaked-out ! 1/10
Leofwine_draca The usual dark and grimy horror fare in which innocent people are caught up in a violent world and find themselves murdered by emotionless bad guys. This is very similar to the likes of HOSTEL and in particular the Thora Birch film TRAIN, and it attempts to be a single location film set entirely on a bus; however the action often diverts to outside of the vehicle given the limited filming opportunities inside.SHUTTLE is no better or worse than a dozen other similar genre films. The odds are stacked against it insofar as the script is entirely bland and lacking in appealing characters; Tony Curran's villain is just sort of there and doesn't have much in the way of presence. The emphasis is on violence and humiliation, which means that this isn't much fun to watch, but the film as a whole never manages to be frightening, just depressing. The sole redeeming thing is that this never goes all-out into torture porn territory, which is something to be commended.
Kristin This film is awesome for what it is. Shuttle is not just a typical horror flick to simply get a kick out of it. This is a tragic/horror film that provokes more intellectual thought and empathy rather than just spooks to be enjoyed. The film got me to think about man's cruelty against man, and makes me wonder about all of the women who have been trafficked in real life. Also, this movie has a lot of surprising twists, and kept me guessing until the near end. At that point I could clearly see what was going on by the clues. The end was definitely sick, twisted, an tragic. The movie could be a little far fetched, but it does deliver the message! Shuttle gave me the punch, and I like that. It gets me to think.
deatman9 I have never even heard about this movie and I decided to give it a watch and Im sure glad I did. The acting is not bad and the storyline is believable. Not what I thought it was going to be but still a good movie. Ignore what everyone says about the ending its one of the best parts. Its their opinion because they get sad. This movie is about 2 friends at the airport on their way back from Mexico. They meet two guys at the airport and they decide to spend sometime together. They catch a shuttle bus to take them into town but the shuttle does not take them to town. The driver takes them on a detour...This movie was good. It was thrilling and very believable. New original story that has not been done before.
