"Severe Injuries" pretty much establishes Amy Lynn Best as a totally professional (and clever) force in the Low-budget film world. Charlie Fleming has his best role as the inept would-be killer, and Jasi Cotton Lanier's bits are very funny. Film is also top notch in all technical aspects and contains a surprise appearance by an actress in what could be one of her most memorable appearances ever. Like "The Resurrection Game", this Happy Cloud Productions effort has a lot of surprise touches. Indie Film legend Debbie Rochon even shows up! Think the DVD may come with the short subject "Were-Girll" with Jasi Cotton Lanier, which was Best' first effort and also very funny.

If you see this chicks name in the credits immediately turn around and run in the other direction! The two movies I've seen by her are lame and stupid. I also agree with the people who said she was dull and partially spoiled this movie by insisting on starring in it (only partially because the writing and direction are also awful and spoil the rest of it). Severe Injuries is just another case of a vain and misguided effort that exists to try to prove just how talented one human being thinks they are. The problem is that Amy Lynn is just simply not talented at all. She is also not an appealing or attractive actress... at all! It's just painful to watch at times. In fact, the lead actresses in this movie altogether are not good looking or talented. Robyn Griggs has gone downhill since her soap opera days and insists on wearing tight clothing so her gut hangs out of the bottom of her shirt. The other lead girls are quite hideous also and not a one of them can act. That leaves the good looking and talented women like Debbie Rochon and Jasi Lanier with just small cameo appearances here which will be a huge disappointment to their fans. The movie itself is a forced and unfunny parody of slasher films about a killer murdering sorority girls and their boyfriends. I like very low budget horror movies like the ones from Eric Stanze but this is a piece of garbage that needs to be thrown in the dumpster where it belongs.

First let me say this story had possibilities but the casting department for sure needs to be put on waivers. Was there any acting talent on display ? Yes, but not enough to save this ! Deb Rochon again does her best to give a rousing hearty performance & does very well in her effort. Lilith Stabs is the only other positive. Now my question to the producer is, " why go to the trouble of casting a professional dominatrix/ fetish model as the house slut if her SMBD/fetish talents are ignored " ? Instead of her carrying a gun a paddle, cane, crop or whip would be much more real for her. Likewise her attire could have consisted of some Thigh Hi spike heel boots & corsets. All told this was not a good movie.

First let me say I watched this twice in the same evening. Reason for doing that was to try & find something good to say about it. Let me start by asking where did they find the cast. Apart from Deb Rochon and Lilith Stabs the rest of the ladies were atrocious to look at. Any of them ever hear the phrase sex appeal, I wonder ? The plot had potemtial but the acting was terrible. Amy Lynn should stay behind the camera & leave the acting to Deb & Lilith. Deb was great in her role. Lilith as Holly the house slut was totally under used. Her one semi nude shot ( Bra & garter slip on stairs ) was one would think at least the lead up to some further lingerie shots but alas it was not to be. The missed opportunity to showcase Miss Stabs natural oozing sex appeal should be a class a misdeameanor if not a more serious offence. The male participants were there only for the free beer as there was no talent whatsoever among them. Fans of Rochon can feel good about her performance and fans of Stabs can only hope that someday some producer will use that natural sexy body.
