shawnblackman A SOV horror that has two friends teaming up to shoot a horror film. One guy has the video equipment and the other guy who's trying to look like Tom Savini has the script and the effects. Of course they don't use effects at all since they actually kill people on screen. This was well done for a low budgeter. The acting was even good. There was some gore now and then. My favourite was the poor chap who was hung upside down with his hands tied behind his back and a few sticks of dynamite shoved in his mouth then lit. This was a building block for films like August Underground and Snuff 102. If you can find this give it a watch.
Kellen Couzens Just finished watching it and I gotta say of you're a fan of SOV horror flicks this one shouldn't be missed. Lots of gore, blood and boobs. Not to mention a rock band dressed in Druid costumes not unlike The Spits (except the music isn't as good). Even the off screen kills are still displayed on our screen. The story is decent and the acting leaves a little to be desired but it's an SOV you know ..who cares. The story only serves as a spring board for violent video fatalities. Drills, chainsaws, knives, axes and all kinds of implements of death are used to their full potential here. Gore/sleaze hounds take note. Can't recommend enough
B-MovieDork When I ordered this movie, I was expecting your typical shot-on-video "extreme" mock-snuff movie. But no. It was actually pretty decently put together, and had a neat little story. Overall, the acting was believable, and there were in fact 2 or 3 pretty gruesome death scenes (although the f/x are pretty laughable: a girl gets chainsawed in half, and her guts are packed perfectly tight inside her body, completely in tact). The movie doesn't really emphasize the snuff scenes very much. They are played out pretty campy and only last for about 10-20 seconds each. There's no torture, no pleading, rape, humiliation, or anything super disturbing like that. So that makes it very easy to sit through. There is quite a large body count as well, so that's another plus. The ending, however is EXTREMELY predictable, but yet does not make the movie a total letdown. If you're a fan of micro-budget horror films, then you will probably get a kick out of this. But if your tastes tend to lean more towards the mainstream, you'll be sure to roll your eyes and stop the tape within the first 20 minutes.
