Sci-FiHorrorFan This film was very slow and boring and it was not very interesting.This is the kind of film id recommend to someone if they wanted to fall asleep very quickly. This film was very disappointing for a number of reasons. number one there is no story or not much of one anyway and number 2 the film is so dark you can barely see what the hell is going on. I thought this film would go somewhere but it never did and that's what makes it so disappointing because you would expect some sort of a story of some kind but No all we get is blackness and four teenagers driving around for the majority of the movie. And for people that are wondering why iv'e given this film 3 stars well that's because the film did have some interesting ideas toward the end but unfortunately those things were not executed properly and when the film ends it will just leave you with a sour taste in your mouth. I did not like this film however there is one thing this film did do right and that's atmosphere,this film has a very dark feeling to it and you get this sense of dread as the movie goes on that something bad will happen and i think the film did well in that respect but that's it. This film tries to do the film style of (what you can't see is scarier) sort of thing but it does not work and that's mainly because you don't care about any of the characters so as a result you don't care what happens to them.this film is just as bad as the Blair witch project, all of the characters are annoying and whinny and unlikable especially the girls who pretty much complain all through the movie about stupid petty things.Even the lead guy was nothing special and frankly i thought he was a loser and i thought the girls were losers too not to mention very selfish individuals and they force the guy to drive them around all night in the car which got very Boring.At the beginning of the film we see two men get attacked by something which i guessed was an Alien however we never see it until the end of the movie which may i add was in (darkness) so we barely see it. I am actually offended as a SCI-FI Fan that people would make a film like this a film with no logic or reason,and if people think this film is going to be so bad its funny then they will be wrong this film is NOT Funny at all,i found it about as funny as a fart in a bathtub. there is NO humour NO scares NO chills nothing and the story really goes nowhere. People complain about AVPR Being a Dark film well if they thought that was dark they should try watching this! this is worse especially the bits at the end and frankly i'd rather go and watch AVPR over this rubbish any-day!.It least that film has a lot of Action!. people say that film is bad well i happen to like it and its much better than this Film! that's for sure!. Later in the film the teenagers meet this crazy man in this cabin and this man was rambling on and on so much i didn't understand what the hell he was talking about! and at the end of the film when we finally see the Alien its an Alien that looks like a big round Ball! and here's the best part! the Alien is called MR TWINKLES!. What sort of name is that? even for an Alien name it sounds weird!. i'm guessing the Alien was called Mr twinkles because he glowed in the dark? and that's the only explanation i can come up with. This film does just about everything wrong bad characters bad script bad lighting.this film also has clichés all over the place!. teenagers get lost out in the middle of nowhere check! teenagers with no working cellphones check! and teenagers arguing and fighting even when they know they are in danger check!.And last but not least There is (nobody else around) because they are in the middle of nowhere!.check. I Advise people not to watch this film unless they wan't to get a splitting headache from all the screaming and arguing the teenagers do. This film was so long dark and noisy that i felt warn out after watching it and i went straight to bed the moment the movie ended and frankly me sleeping was more fun than the whole movie.
